This is my first story, so I'd appreciate any can of feed back available. I'm not sure exactly where things are gonna go with this story so if anyone have any ideas let me know. :)
Chapter 1
I thought back to the wonder full day when my twin sisters were born 2 weeks before my 10th birthday.
I was walking into the house from being by our backyard lake. I noticed that my brothers, Dasan and Delson, weren't their usual playful selves and were watching T.V. I also noticed that my older sister, Catori, wasn't ignoring me like she always did. Then it hit me.
"Catori where is mom and dad? Are they ok? Is the baby ok? What happened?" I asked really fast
"Aiyana calm down mom and dad are at the hospital. Yes their all ok, mom went into labor with the baby they should be home soon so just relax ok." Catori said calmly
I headed up to my room with its dark purple walls and band and movie posters hung all over them. I sat down on my dark purple canopy bed listening to my iPod and I slowly fell asleep to Tokio hotel's ready, set, go. (I love them, Bill is SO HOT!!!)
I was gently woken up by Catori shaking me. "What is it Catori?" I asked dreamily
"Mom and dad just came home and they want us all to see the baby and help pick out a name for it." Catori said excitedly
As soon as I heard the words 'mom and dad came home' I was completely awake and excited. "I think that we should name the baby after grandma Nova if it's a girl." I said to Catori while we were running down the halls. I could hear the soft thuds of our feet.
"And if it's a boy we can name after grandpa Akano." Catori said following my idea. We ran down stairs to tell our parents our ideas for the baby's name. I made it first so I got to tell them my idea first.
"Mom, dad Catori and I have ideas about what we should name the baby. I thought that we could name the baby after grandma Nova if it's a girl and..." I said
"I thought we could name the baby after grandpa Akano if it was a boy" Said Catori finishing my sentence.
"Those sound like wonderful ideas girls but there's only one problem." my mother said with a smile. We look at her with confusion as she continued talking "we need another name for your twin sisters."
"We can name the other one after Grandma Nina." Catori and I said happily in unison
I thought to myself, "That was 6 years ago and the happiest day of my life and today was the worst day of my life." I was sitting by our lake in the backyard in the warm summer heat with my feet in the cool and calming water watching the movements. I was listening to the animals around me with their excited and caring chatter. I let out my long black hair that had light purple highlights in it, form its ponytail like I always did when I was thinking or mad. I watched the trees and the flowers while replaying the days' earlier events and when I was told that I was to be married into a wealthy tribe.
