A Love for Inuyasha or Koga

Chapter 2

"Hey look guys it's the white fur freak" said a wolf demon, as a ten year old Maeve started to cry. "Leave me alone... I didn't do anything to you" cried Maeve, as they smirked. "So... that doesn't mean anything" said a wolf demon. "Hey idiots get away from her" shouted a ten year old Koga, as Maeve paused and looked to see him standing in front of her. "Koga... we weren't going to do anything" said the wolf demon as Koga hpmhed and crossed his arms. "Like I care... get lost" he shouted, as they walked away. Maeve tried whipping the tears from her face but they kept crawling. Then she paused again seeing a hand reach out in front of her. "Aren't you supposed to be strong or something... I mean you are a white fur wolf right" said Koga, as she took his hand and he helped her up. "I... don’t know" said Maeve turning her head. Koga smirked and looked at her "Tell you what you tell me your name and you can be a part of my tribe" he said, as Maeve blinked a few times. "You have a tribe, but you’re the same age as me" said Maeve, as he smirked. "I'm Koga the new wolf leader and so what I’m stronger than you" he said, as Maeve smiled a bit. "That means you'll protect me right?" asked Maeve, as he blushed a bit and then smirked. "Of course I'm going to be your wolf tribe leader after all" he said, as Maeve smiled. "Promise?" asked Maeve "Tell me your name" said Koga, as Maeve smiled. "You have to promise first" said Maeve, as he sighed and then nodded. Maeve smiled "Maeve... of the dark brown fur tribe" said Maeve, as Koga paused and blinked a few times. "What you mean you’re not a part of the elders group" said Koga, as Maeve shook her head. "Oh well makes no difference to me" he said, as Maeve smiled and followed Koga to his tribes cave.

"Maeve.... Maeve" said a voice, as she opened her eyes to see Inuyasha standing above her. Maeve paused and looked around. 'It was only a past memory' thought Maeve, as Inuyasha held a hand towards her. She paused looking at it and then looked at him. She took it and he helped her up. "You ok?" he asked, as she nodded and dusted herself off. Maeve then paused and smelled the air, she then sighed. "Inuyasha... I'm going to go ok" said Maeve, as he paused and looked at her. "Why?" he asked, as she smiled and kissed his cheek. "I don't want to get near Koga or Kagome right now" said Maeve, as she dashed off.

She dashed and finally stopped at a nearby river. "Man Koga still isn't back yet" said Hakkaku "What did you expect he's with Kagome" said Ginta. "What's so special about Kagome?" asked Maeve "What do you mean, she can see the jewel shards, has a heck of a good shot when it comes to bow and... Maeve" shouted Hakkaku hiding behind a rock. "Hey Hakkaku, Ginta you two look.... hungry" said Maeve, as their stomachs growled. "Koga won't let us eat humans because of Kagome" said Ginta, as his wolfs whined. Maeve sighed and started petting them "Oh you poor guys" said Maeve. "So Maeve what brings you here?" asked Ginta, as she sighed and she looked at the river. "Promise you won't tell Koga" said Maeve, as Hakkaku and Ginta looked at each other. "I mean it, if Koga found out he'd turn me in" said Maeve, as they nodded. "The elders have decided that if I can find a mate on my own that wasn't taken then they'll leave me alone, if not I have to marry someone of their choosing" said Maeve, as they looked at each other. "That’s rough" said Hakkaku, as Maeve nodded sitting on a rock. "So that's why you chose Inuyasha" said Ginta, as Maeve blushed. "Well that and he did save me and everything" said Maeve, as they sighed. "Just one question why not Koga?" asked Hakkaku, as Maeve punched his head. "Idiot you were there, he asked Ayame and then Kagome, there’s no way I would stand a chance to that" said Maeve, as they sat and laid down just chatting for a bit. Maeve then paused as she felt a strong wind coming; Ginta and Hakkaku paused looking at her. "Something wrong?" asked Ginta, as Maeve sat up and smiled at them. "Nope just have to go that’s all" said Maeve "What?" asked Ginta "Your joking right, your apart of our tribe you can't go" said Hakkaku, as Maeve froze and suddenly tears started crawling down her face. "Way to go you made her cry" said Ginta. "Aren't you supposed to be stronger than that?" asked a voice, as Hakkaku and Ginta turned their heads to see Koga. "Koga" they shouted, as Maeve raised her head with tears still crawling down her face. "Maeve your not really going are you?" asked Koga, as Maeve paused and turned her head towards him. "Yeah... I don't want to be in your way" said Maeve, as Koga sighed. "Maeve how many times do I have to tell you, that you’re in my tribe" he shouted, as Maeve paused and looked at Koga, seeing his eyes angry that she wouldn't stay. Maeve paused and looked at herself. "Koga.... I owe you so much, you changed my life... and I finally was happy. However I can't stand it.... I can't stand to see you in the arms of another girl if it demon, human or whatever. So until you make up your mind Koga.... I can't be in your tribe" said Maeve "Where are you going to go?" asked Koga, as Maeve paused "I don't know I've been alone almost my whole life. I think I'll survive" said Maeve walking away. "Way to go" said Ginta looking bored "What do you mean?!" shouted Koga "Koga... Maeve has been in our tribe a lot longer than Kagome or Ayame, how do you think she feels seeing other girls around you" said Hakkaku "How am I supposed to know?" shouted Koga "Well you hate her around Inuyasha don't you?" asked Ginta "What? Why should I?" he shouted, as Hakkaku and Ginta looked at each other bored. "Stop that" shouted Koga, as Hakkaku stood up. "I think I'll look out for Maeve, she doesn't deserve to be alone" said Hakkaku, as he left with a couple of wolfs with him.
