Almost His

Chapter one

   Hi my name is A'ala { meaning, royal } . I am Captain of the soccer team, although i’m “ perfect” because my dad is very rich, i still have my flaws. I have a best friends named A'isha {meaning , alive } her and i have gone to hell and back together. We both have Light Brown  hair, and blue eyes, we have been told we are  unique since we are the only ones with blue and brown eyes in our town..very weird right 

   

       I got up this morning and got dressed in my usual petal shaped skirt and top and headed to get a’isha, she lives down a few houses down from me. When i got there i saw her in our matching petal shaped skirts, oh and did i mention i'm in high school?

“ hello, A'ala, are u ready for the last day of school?”  alai asked.

“ yes very much” i said with a sarcastic tone in my voice

“ come on a'ala, I know you wanna see olly!” she said with a flirting voice while nudging me with her elbow

“ no i don’t!” I said without blushing

  Olly is a senior just like us works at the farm, his dad is my dad partner in being chief. Olly has Dark Brown hair,Ocean Blue eyes,.. I've known him for as long as i can remember. We  were best friends, we were the inseparable 3. But when he got into higher farming he ditched us. I always had a smallish/ more like large crush on him  since we met but i didn't want to ruin the friendship i had with him so i only told a'isha

 OLLY’S POV

     Where do i start? Well...My name is olly. I’m 16 years old and i’m the sheriff's son {sheriff=chiefs helper}  since i’m the sheriff's son im suspected to be mayor one day but i don't have such a good relationship with the mayor's daughter. See it all started when we were 3, A'ala, A'isha and i were an inseparable 3. We did everything together. But when we got to high school i was forced to be the popular kid, since i was the sheriff’s son. I didn't want to leave Aala, and a'isha because i might have/still have a crush on Aala. I mean who wouldn't? she  is beautiful with her light brown hair and her ocean blue eyes.. I mean she is perfect!  I wanted to tell her so bad but i didn’t know if she liked me back

Aala’s POV

When we got to school , met up with my boss AKA my dad. My dad has brown eyes, dark brown hair. He is 33, and he is very strict.

“Aala, you are here!....Now I i want you to study with Olly. “ My dad said

“But dad!” i said with pleading eyes

“NO buts Aala, do what i said!’  he scoffed getting angry

“ yes sir. “

I slowly walked with my head down towards olly, as soon as i got close to him he looked surprised to see me.  

“Hey olly- “

I was about to say something but i was cut off by the ‘Princess of the school’. Her name is Inanna, She has brown hair and dark skin, with chocolate brown  eyes. She’s beautiful. But she is dating olly, sadly.

“ Hey Aala, what are you doing here?” he said with a concerned look

“ Um, chief said i am studying with you for now on…” I said with an uncertain tone

“ well, Olly here is studying with me so ‘SCRAM’ “ Inanna said with a snotty tone

I went to turn away but something grabbed my arm before i walked away. I turned to see who it was and there i saw Olly’s hand on my arm. He smiled at me,  But Inanna Looked ticked off that her ‘Man’ was touching a old best friends arm.

“ No please stay, i would love to study with you A’ala” He said with a heart warming smile

I smiled back at him then looked at Inanna, but she huffed and turned on her heal wa walked away with sass.

“ look-”

“ A’ala, I’m sorry about her back there, she can be hard on people sometimes. ‘I'm sorry it had to be you, is there anyway you could forgive me?” He said with pleading eyes

“Yes, Olly i’m used to it believe me. There is nothing for you to be sorry about. “ i said

He smiled the cheekiest grin ever..his pearly white teeth shining perfectly. While i smiled back we locked eyes and...man, i could stare into those ocean blue eyes for ever but eventually i looked away, with regret of leaving my eyes from his.

 “ It was surprising that you would still talk to me after what happened when we started high school.” he looked down at me with sad eyes, they almost looked glossy like he was going to cry

“ it was a horrible thing to do to you and a’isha. Ever since i did that i regretted it since and i know there is nothing that i can do for you guys so we could be friends again.”  he said while shedding a tear when looking down

“  olly look at me” I said

I put my small hand on his cheek  and made him look at me,

“ Olly, i forgive you. I know you didn’t mean it and i will always be your best friend, just know that ‘i will forgive you for what you did but i will not forget what you did’ i will always love you. remember that.”

“ y-you l-love m-me?”  Olly said with hope in his eyes

“ yes olly i love you… but as friends. “  I said the last part really quietly  then walked away to do my work.

OLLY’S POV

“  olly look at me” I said

She put her small hand on my cheek  which made me look at her.
“ Olly, i forgive you. I know you didn’t mean it and i will always be your best friend, just know that ‘i will forgive you for what you did but i will not forget what you did’........i will always love you. remember that.” she said

“ y-you l-love m-me?”  i said with hope in my eyes

“ yes olly i love you… but as friends. “  she said the last part really quietly  then walked away to do my work.

That entire scene ran through my head all day. I can’t believe she said she loved me, although she said ad friends i will always love her more than a friend.

Then it clicked INANNA i need to break things with her quick so i can fix things with a’ala.

Meanwhile i finished my work on the farm, i keep noticing A’ala looking at me in the corner of her eye. I smiled at her but she always looked away. I felt so bad about the things i did to her.
