Chapter two

Alyssa's p.o.v

My eyes are still heavy from sleep as I stretch out in my bed. The first day of senior year. not sure of my feelings about that yet. to think of it, next year I will be roaming a huge collage campus 5,000 miles away from this town.

Sitting up I grab my glass of water from off my bedside table and slide my fuzzy slippers onto my feet.

Brrrrrr. it's freezing in here.

I pad down the hall to see that my dad set the thermostat to 61 degrees. Of course. Its like we live in freaking Antarctica.

Looking out the window, the sun hasn't even risen yet.

The clock reads 5:34 and I have to start walking to school at 6:15.

I run into the shower quickly washing my hair and body.

Stepping out, I blow dry and curl my hair.

I check the clock once again. 6:03. dang , time flies by.

I quickly wrap a towel around my body and apply mascara and a bit of eyeliner.

Only one thing left to do.

Pick out my outfit.

Picking out clothes was tough for me because, I was considered popular at my school so I knew I would be judged on everything. to my clothes to how curly my hair was. it was annoying.

I decided to go with my blue strapless shirt and my black and white knee length skirt.

After making my coffee and saying goodbye to my mom and dad I started walking to school.

As soon as I stepped through the doors I was greeted by several of my old friends until I finally shoved through the massive wave of seniors to my locker.

I grabbed my two binders for 1st and 2nd period.

As soon as I walked away from my locker I knew that I was forgetting something.

My time table!

I must've forgotten it on the counter at home.
