"Dad! Daaad!" Yelled Charlotte impatiently. "Yes Charlotte?" said her father in exhaustion. "Did the mail get delivered today?" said Charlotte. "Yes honey it did." before her father could say anything else, Charlotte ran out the front door and walked into the driveway, approached the mailbox and grabbed the letters. She switched the letters frantically, then spotted it. "OH MY GOD! I GOT ACCEPTED!" screamed Charlotte, running back inside.
First Day at Ballet Academy
Charlotte opened the doors, beaming. The hallway was empty. "Um, excuse me?" said Charlotte, tapping a girl on the shoulder. The girl turned around, she had strawberry blonde hair and deep emerald eyes. "Oh, hi! My name is Maisie, are you Charlotte?" said the girl in a cheerful yet slightly irritating tone. Charlotte was shocked since the girl knew her name. "Er... yes?" said Charlotte in shock. "Great!" exclaimed Maisie, grabbing Charlotte by the wrist and started pulling her down the hall.
"This is the changing room, it would be best obviously if you got dressed now since the auditions are being held in 7 minutes." said Maisie in a worried manner. "Wait, auditions? Didn't I get accepted?" questioned Charlotte. "Oh, you did get accepted, to audition for first year. Don't worry, you'll probably get in. I was showed your video, it was amazing! I don't understand how you did that pirouette so perfectly," sighed Maisie, she looked like she was daydreaming. Maisie left the room, and Charlotte changed into her leotard.
"Alright ladies, first we'll start with a battement fondu please." said Ms. Churner in a stern voice. Charlotte did so, and Ms. Churner walked around, looking at the girls. The girls Charlotte thought were doing amazing, were getting criticised to the maximum. Then, Ms. Churner walked over to Charlotte. "Lovely posture, Charlotte. See everyone? This is what I want to see! Effortless yet so... perfect." exclaimed Ms. Churner is a excited tone.
After the lesson finished, Ms. Churner asked to speak to Charlotte. "Charlotte, you did exceptionally well. As a congratulations, you will be the first to show us your solo." said Ms. Churner softly. "Thank you so much, Ms. Churner. I will not let you or the academy down." exclaimed Charlotte. "See you tomorrow, Charlotte." said Ms. Churner.
