As I walked in I was greated with hevanly smells of mouth watering foods, as well as genuin smiles, and friendly faces. Blake stood close to my right side and Elk to my left. We continued down the long street to a large beautiful, ornaite, building. The building must have been at least 200ft tall looking over the cute dainty shops around. It had gigantic stain glass windows, in which the light on the inside shown out of.
"Blake is that where we are going?" I ask still awestruck at the magnificent sight.
"Yes, it is. Its just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the out side."
He stated placing a hand on my shoulder. " we will actually be staying for a bit tell you have had training and gotten acustom to the native tungs of the land around. This is the place we all, the people of the door call home."he anounces, as we arrive at the frount, swinging his arms out in fount of him smiling."Ahhhh little Blake still as energetic as ever." The man that I just noticed in the door way announced.
" You know it elder" Blake said giving the big man a hug. Blake backs out of the strong embrace and smiles at me." Elder I would like you to meet the newest person of the Door, Amie" he announces swinging his arm over my shoulder, continueing his devilish smile.
"Welcome Amie, to the village of wind and trees." The elder says pulling Blake and I into a strong embrace once again. The man pulls away and walks in the door motioning for Blake and I to follow. As I crossed the threshhold into the dazeling room I was greeted with laughter and the most delightful smells that have ever crossed my nose in the short time of being here.
"Come on Amie" Blake wispered to me as we moved forward deeper into the house. Following closely behind Blake we snake around furniture to a large room full of people sitting at a gigantic wooden table full of food and many odd people.
"Blake your back!" A young girl squeaks out, abruptly pushing back her chair causing Blake in front of me to jump and freeze. The young girl rushes him, clinging to his leg she breaks out in a fit of giggles swinging herself back and forth.
"Hi Emrie, did you miss me." Blake asks the young girl, patting her on the head.
"I did, I did Blake. Come sit with me Blake" she pleads. Not giving Blake the chance to say no she pulls him by the bottom of his shirt to a chair, leaving me in the door way. He pauses once Emrie pulls out the chair for him and looks to me, and smiles. He places a hand on Emries head ruffles her hair pushes in the chair and walks back to me at the door. He rests a hand on my shoulder and makes a throaty nose as to ask everyone for silence.
"I would like you all to meet Amie, the newest from the door." He announces looking over the crowed who are all dead silent.
"Welcome Amie of the Door" A rather large man with a long beard stands, greet me with his glass of beer raised high, slipping it everywhere. After doing so everyone else stands raising there glasses, greeting me with kind words. Blake still standing next to me squeezes my shoulder, then begins to guide me to the table. Once at the table Blake pulls out a chair for me next to Emrie. I smile down around her as I sit, she giggles and grins back up at me. I look up from the table to see everyone endulging in food and conversation; its heart warming seeing so many people getting along so well.
"Amie are you hungry" Blake whispers to me slightly nuging my hand with a plate holding apon it mouth watering food.
"Yes, thank you." I whisper back to him smiling, I take the plate and slide it in front of me. Slowly working at my large plate I begin to listen in on conversations. There's talk of heart ships, conquest, battles, training, you name it, it filled the room. As I begin to stair of into spaces listing in on a conversation about training I feel a tug on my shirt. Turning in the detection the tug came from I see Emrie looking up at me with her beautiful dark amber eyes.
