Later that afternoon, back in my now dreary room compared to the glamourous one belonging to Marie's daughter, I got a call from Katy. I wonder if Katy's calling to help me with my bet, she has older sister too so she understands what it's like to have one and why it's so important I win this bet.
"Hey," I said in a monotone voice.
"Hey," she said in a way more excited voice that I did. "So guess what, I posted on Instagram all the details about your bet and how your being to tortured by your older sister. So I asked people if they had any ideas of jobs you could take!
So I guess it was Katy.
"You did what!" I stammered in shock. Was that good or bad that this bet was going viral?
"Turns out," she continued, "that a lot of people get your problem and wanted to help. Even companies and shops from nearby plazas and the town want to interview you. So the first one I hooked you up with was Sprinkles, the Fro-yo place about a block or two away. It sounds easy enough for you, all you have to do is fill up samples and sometimes work the cash register. You better clear the schedule for the rest of your day because your interviews in an hour. Besides, you might want to type up a paper with information about you, you know like your skills and experience and stuff. Have your mom help you.
"Thanks agent," I joked!
"What do you mean?" she asked confused.
"I mean your my new agent, I'm hiring you. You found me an actual job, I can't believe it?!?" I shouted a little too loudly with happiness! "You might want to find me another job for tomorrow, just incase I'm fired today."
"Don't worry, I know you well enough that you can't keep a job for longer than a day, I'm on it," she joked as my agent.
"Bye."
"Bye."

Later that night I checked what Katy posted on Instagram for me. My mom never wanted me to have any social messaging or interacting accounts, or really be a part of any online website. I finally begged her in sixth grade to let me have a Instagram account. My account was so tightly patrolled by my mom, she even made her own account to see what was going on and if it was okay for me, that it was no fun after a month. I don't post anything, I just use my account to see what other people are posting. What Katy made for me was really good, she could be an advertising agent. Though, at first glance I noticed the picture she posted of my sister laughing at me while I had messed up make-up all over my face. I looked like a clown, I hated this picture, how did Katy get a hold of this. I was about to call her and tell her to take the picture down, how could she do this to me, than I realized the picture had over three thousand likes and comments saying stuff like I get what you going through and different job ideas. It was cool how all these people understood me.
I was pretty lucky and special to have Katy as a fiend. "Thanks! :)," I posted with a smiley face, which Katy loves. Now I gotta figure how to write a not real, child resume.
A/N: Sorry this chapter is so short. I just wanted to get one more posted before I go away. It will be awhile before I post anymore. Hang in there and see what happens to Lea. What do you think about Katy and Lea's characters? Should Lea get a crush at one of her jobs? Keep rooting for Lea and have a good summer full of voting and commenting on my book. Thanks all my lovely readers!!!
