Chapter 4

Tris POV

"Hey Tris come sit with me and my friends," Tobias cheerfully says.

"Sure," I smile widely, then wince from the pain on my cheek. I just remembered about that. I quickly cover my cheek with my hand and turn away from Tobias.

"Tris, what did he do to you?" I just shake my head. He carefully removes my hand from my cheek and gasps when he sees it. "Oh my god tris. I am going to kill the bastard," I see that anger and pain in his eyes.

"I'll meet you in the lunch room. I need to go to the bathroom," I cover my cheek again.

"Ok, be careful," I nod and walk into the bathroom. I pull out my pocket knife, and start to cut my wrists. It just seems that I can't live with myself anymore. I want to slowly die from boodloss. I put my knife back, and walk out of the bathroom. I see Tobias waiting for me.

"I told you to go wait in the lunch room for me," I say confused on why he is not waiting in the lunch room. He points to a cafeteria behind him, I make an -o- shape with my mouth.

I see him look down at my wrists. I turn them in, so he won't see the blood, but he grabs my arm faces it up. He can see my wrist, it's dripping with blood. "Trissy where is it?" I know exactly what he's talking about. I refuse to give him the knife.

I shake my head, "we should go eat, I'm starving"

"Trissy you promised me you would stop," he whines,

"I'm sorry it just has gotten worse," it's true. What he did to me today, was the worst I have gotten. He tilts his head to the side. "He's started whipping my with belts, and much worse," I run a hand through my hair. "Lets just go please," I bag.

He nods his head. We walk to the lunch line silently.

When we get to the line, and I get a salad and a soft beef taco. I lay for my food and wait for Toby. He comes up to me, and I follow him to a table with a whole bunch of people. There are two chairs left. Tobias and I take those seats.

"Hey guys," tobias says.

"Hey Four," they all say in unison which is kinda creepy. "Is that your new bird Four?" Asks a guy with celery Green eyes.

My mouth literally drops open, Tobias just chuckles, no she's just my best friend since childhood, anyways, guys this is Tris. Tris this is Chrstina, Will, Peter, Lynn, Al, Uriah, Marlene, Zeke, and Shauna," (see what I did there with order of the names?) he points to each one.

"Hey," they all say. I just do a lame wave, and eat my salad. Everyone broke into conversation except me.i finish my taco.

I sit back and look over my shoulder, and see Agustus sitting by Hazel. He has been hanging around her all day.

Lunch is over and I walk to my next class social studies.

As soon as I enter the room, I smell blood and roses. I scrunch up my nose from the stench. I see Agustus with an empty seat beside him. I sit beside him. "Hey babe," I kiss his cheek.

"Hey," he replies. He kisses me back and it starts to become a full make out session.

"NO PDA!!" I hear someone yell. I look over toward the voice and see it's Uriah.

"Really Uriah?" I mumble.

Turns out he heard it cause he says, "ya really. PDA is not allowed on school ground," I just roll my eyes and turn back around in my chair. The teacher walks in, and he looks so evil. There are whole bunch of sores around his lips. He wears a white rose in his Chet pocket on his grey suit.

The whole class is silent as he walks in. I am mr.Snow. This will be a free period, so do whatever you want, just don't leave the classroom." He says In that evil voice of his. He looks at me right in the eyes. I suck in a sharp breathe. It's almost as if he is giving me a death glare, but he is hiding it.

By the time he looks away, the class is in animated chatter. I turn to talk to Agustus, but I realise he is talking to Hazel. I didn't even notice her in this class.

I turn to talk to Uriah when I notice Zeke is here too. Turns out they're brothers. As Toby told me. "Hey guys," I say confidently.

"Hey Tris," they both reply at the same time. That's still really creepy.

"So, my dear brother and I have been thinking. And since you and Four have been best buds all your life, you Would know Four's real name. Am I right?" Questions Zeke.

"Yeah and?"

"Tell us his real name," commands Uriah.

"Not if To-Four doesn't want me to," I can't believe I almost called him by his real name.

"Ha you almost called him his real name," they say in unison again.

"You guys really need to stop doing that,"

"What?" They both say again"

"That!"

"Sorry," says Uriah before Zeke. The bell finally rings. I grab my books and make my way to L.A.

When I walk out my dad is there grinning evilly.
