Amnesia

"Surgery went well. The internal bleeding he had was stopped. He'll wake up soon, I assure you of that. We also ran a scan to see if there was any brain injury. He had into brain injuries but not too severe.", the doctor informed to small boy who was biting away at his finger nails as a nervous habit.

"So he's gonna be okay, right?" ,Taehyung Spoke worriedly as he glanced at Jungkook who was laying on the hospital bed, a cast on his right arm and a few cuts and scrapes on his cheeks.

"He'll be fine, I promise. The anaesthesia is gonna be a little weird on him, but he'll be fine. Now if he wakes up sooner than expected, please inform us." The doctor smiled. " I'll have some nurses check on him from time to time."

Taehyung smiled weakly and nodded his head as the doctor left and made his way to Jungkook's bed, taking a seat next to it. Taehyung took a hold of Jungkook's hand and intertwined their fingers.

"Come on Kook, wake up faster" , Taehyung whispered softly as he pressed a small kiss on Jungkook's forehead.

The hazel eyed boy let out a small sigh as he got no reply and looked down at their hands. A small smile made its way to his lips when seeing his engagement ring on his finger.

"Kookie, you need to wake up soon so we can get married quicker, okay?", Taehyung mumbled as he played with Jungkook's fingers.

Taehyung smiled when Feeling Jungkook weakly attempt to tighten his grip his hand. " There you go kook, good job."

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes and looked up at Taehyung, his voice hoarse as he talked. "W-Who are you?"

Taehyung's heart dropped to the pit of his stomach as when hearing those words.

"What do you mean who am I? You don't know who I am Jungkook?"

Jungkook shook his head slightly and looked at Taehyung with a curious expression. " You're r-really pretty though."

Taehyung blushed at the small compliment and let out a small giggle. "Is that so?"

"R-really really pretty.", Jungkook murmured as he rubbed his eyes slightly. "Are you single?"

Taehyung playfully rolled his eyes and bit his lip. "Actually, I'm taken, engaged in fact.

"Dammit.",Jungkook muttered under his breath. "But you're so pretty."

Taehyung blushed and giggled softly. "Thank you,but I'm engaged and my fiancè is the jealous type."

"I would be too if someone was flirting with you", Jungkook hummed and bit his lip and looked at Taehyung. "Can you call off the wedding or something and be with me instead?"

"Jungkook you're an idiot."

"I can be your idiot."

Taehyung giggled and rolled his eyes. Jungkook I'm engaged to you, idiot."

"Wait, what?"

"Jungkook, I'm engaged to you."

"You're fucking with me.", Jungkook gasped as his eyes widened looking at Taehyung in shock.

Taehyung giggled and kissed Jungkook's cheek. " I'm not joking kookie."

Jungkook sighed happily. "Holy fuck, I hit the jackpot, just look at you.", Jungkook said in awe.

Taehyung blushed and playfully rolled his eyes.

"You're so pretty.",Jungkook hummed and closed his eyes again. "M'tired."

"Go to sleep kookie.", Taehyung giggled and shook his head slightly, "You need the rest."
