Chapter 4

Lizzy's pov

I was scared; what was he going to say. I wasn't going to interrupt what Dan had to say though. I was still shocked that he took such quick action.

"Listen up you insensitive prick!" Dan breathed into the phone, " you need to leave Liz alone! She is an awesome, beautiful girl, you don't deserve her, she could do so much better than you, you push her around like she is a pile of shit! I'm sick of seeing my best friend hurt because of you. If you don't stop with this, I will make you stop!" And with that he ended the call.

He almost dropped the phone when he looked over. " oh my goodness Liz I'm so sorry I didn't mean to be so aggressive, it's just...."

" no need to apologize. I think he needed to her that. Maybe he will stop." I dot sound so sure.

" are you okay" he asked looking deep in my eyes, he always knew when something was wrong. I was never good at lying.

" I'm not going to lie, I'm a little shocked." I huffed

He came over and wrapped his arms around me. It was still the afternoon, but after seeing and hearing that made me tired. I started to fall asleep in Dan's arms.
