Just One Year{A Jimin Fanfiction}

Avalon

I slowly open my eyes and sit up. Sunlight floods into my room. I had so much fun last night, but I'm so tired now. I check my phone and see that it's 10 am. I stretch and get out of bed. Mochi follows me to the washroom, where I brush my teeth. After I finish,  head downstairs to the kitchen to have some breakfast.

"Did you have fun?" Dad asks, when I enter the kitchen. I completely forgot that today is Saturday.

"Yeah." I say. He's sitting at the breakfast table reading the newspaper with an empty plate in front of him.

"There's pancakes in the fridge for you." Dad says. I go to the fridge and grab the plate of pancakes, I drown them in maple syrup.

"Did you know that Mr. Park's son is in LA?" Dad asks, out of nowhere.

"I didn't." I lie. I sit down across from dad. He folds his newspaper, which means this isn't the end of the conversation.

"Apprarently, he's in an idol group." Dad says. Why is he suddenly talking about Jimin?

"Cool." I say. I stuff some pancakes into my mouth.

"Wasn't he dating Lawyer Kang's daughter? I wonder how that's going?" Dad asks. I raise my eyebrow at him.

"Why do you care? This conversation seems pretty random." I say. Dad clears his throat.

"This came for you yesterday." Dad says, handing me an envelope. My hands begin to shake as I take the envelope from him. I see the name of the school. I got accepted to two of the five universities that I applied to. I take a deep breath and then open the envelope. The first sentence brings a smile to my face. I got in!

"I got in!" I say, jumping out of my seat. Dad gets out of his seat and comes around the table to hug me.

"I'm so proud of you." Dad says. Honestly, I'm proud of myself too.

Jimin

The guys and I are out shopping. Taehyung wanted to go to the Gucci store, I don't know  why though.

"These sunglasses are so cool." Taehyung says.

"Why are we here? It's not like we can afford it." Yoongi hyung says.

"He's right." Namjoon hyung says. Taehyung pouts.

"A guy can dream, can't he?" Taehyung says. I laugh.

"Come on man, let's go get In N Out." I say, throwing my arm over his shoulder as I lead him out. the others follow behind. We're done filming for today and I'm so exhausted, especially from last night. I wish we had prom in Korea.

"Hey, isn't that Avalon noona and Kayla noona?" Jungkook asks, nodding his head towards them. It is.

"Who's that guy they're with?" Hoseok hyung asks. That's a good question.

"Probably a friend." Jin hyung says.  It amazes me how he can always see the positive in every situation. Jin hyung is probably right though.I look over to my right and see that Jungkook is gone.

"Noona!" Jungkook yells, running towards Avalon and Kayla. Aish, that brat. The rest of the guys and I slowly approach.

"What are you doing?" Avalon asks, in Korean.

"I came to say hi." Jungkook says, smiling.  Avalon ruffles his hair.

"Okay." Avalon says. Kayla asks Avalon something in English and I just tune out from there.

BTS seems to be everywhere I go.

"Are you Avalon boyfriend?" Jungkook asks, in English. Kayla, Ryan and I look at each other and laugh.
