The year 2000
Everyone is excited to see the only heir of the current King of Alia. Everyone inside the palace could not paint the joy felt but, nothing could match the happines by the female heir.
She took a glance at the mirror and stared at the next ruler in the kingdom that had been ruled by her father and her ancestors.
She stood up and walked towards the giant mirror in her room. She scanned the elegant golden ball gown while walking and with one full slow turn a breeze lift the gown above the floor.
"This is too much from what I am asking for." One genuine smile formed at her pinkish lips while caressing the gown once more.
She waltzed unto the center of her room and examined her physique through the mirror at the corner of her room. But something caught her attention as she noticed a red shimmer on her left shoulder.
She realized it was not part from of her japon when a streak of light flashed against the mirror. At that point, she froze as if a bucket of cold water had been poured on her. She scanned the room but no one was to be found. She knew their was something wrong.
As she examined the light streak, more and more of it appeared covering her entire gown. She trailed the red lights and realized the lights being emitted came from the wooden stars, carved around her room.
'What's happening?'
As if a code was deciphered, the streak of light grew brighter and stunned her eyes. It took several seconds to get her normal vision back but she was hearing clanking sounds around her room.
'A woman's fate is tragic. The lights within will burst. A fight of fear and joy, yet the tree will bear.'
The wooden stars carved in the ceiling of her room had moved and showed the engraved words.
She remembered what the seer had said. That was her future but she did not understand to pay attention to it. She was spacing out trying to comprehend the situation.
"AMBER!" A man cried. She immediately turned to the door of her room.
Amber walked slowly towards the door- cautious. Her heels were making loud bangs at the silent corridor of the palace. She led herself towards the great hall. Goosebumps ran down her body once again. She pushed the double doors that parted her from the great hall but the scenario shocked her. Blood, death and silence covered the hall.
"AMBER RUN!"
Amber got startled by the shout of her father. She looked and saw him at the platform in front of the hall, struggling to stand. She held her gown up and ran towards her father.
"Dad! Wha- what happened? Who did this to you?" Stuttered as she spoke those words. Tears were starting to fill her eyes.
"Amber, go. Run! They. Are. After you!"
"Dad, please! I will not leave without you." Her tears flowed continuously as her body trembled in fear.
"Amber! Run don't get yourself caught." She knew her dad was already holding on to fight death. And it made her more weak and vulnerable.
"Please, Dad." Amber sobbed in her words.
"Do. It. For me Amber." It's too late. Her father could no longer fight the battle of life.
This setting was Amber's worst nightmare. She did not know what to do. She almost lost the energy to get up and leave. She finds it difficult to compose especially since her father just died mercilessly.
