Garroth's P.O.V

I woke up, pushing my messy blonde hair out of my eyes while yawning. Today was the day, the day I finally get to see Laurence after 3 long months! Laurence had been on vacation in another country, so I couldn't see nor contact him all summer. But today I will finally see him and no one will stop me!

"Garroth, breakfast,"  she yelled up the stairs.
"Coming, mum"
"Okay"

I put my uniform on, brushed my teeth and headed down the stairs. When I got halfway down, the great smell of pancakes hit my nose and it smelled great. Dad was at work, so he wasn't here. He owns a big buisness, so he has to be there early. When I got down, my eyes met my mum's beautiful green ones.

"Hello GarGar, I made pancakes."
"Hello, mummy"

I sat down at the table and ate my pancakes. After I finished, I went to check on my brothers, Vylad and Zane. They're still in middle school. Zane is one year younger than me and he is very edgy. Very edgy. Vylad is two years younger than me and he's really smart, he even skipped a grade. He's in the same grade as Zane and will be in highschool next year, with me.I'm the oldest brother and the brawn too. I went downstairs and I looked at my mum.

"How do you think you'll like your new school, GarGar?".
"I think it'll be nice. I mean, you did threaten my first hour teacher that you'd sue the school if I get bullied."
"Yeah," she slightly chuckled,"but what if they find out about your secret, like last time?" she asked, concern laced in her voice.
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone this time."
"But-"
"No 'buts', anyways bye mum, love you!"
She sighed.
"Bye GarGar"

With that, I grabbed my bag and my phone and was out the door. Once outside, the cool autumn breeze hit my face. It was early autumn and tree's leaves were turning an auburn color and since it was getting cooler, people have started to wear jackets now.
As I walked to school I noticed my friend, Travis. He had whitish silver hair and bright emerald eyes. He was cute, but not as cute as Laurence.

"Hey, Travis," I yelled to him. He looked surprised as he turned around and I snickered at his expression. As he realised who I was and what was going on, he calmed down and waved.
"Hey Garroth. What's up? Why didn't you come see me all summer? Did you have you have a tea party with the queen or something," he asked in a mocking tone, trying to copy my British accent. I hate it when people make fun of my accent. I'm the only one in my family with a British accent and I don't know why. All the girls at school say that it's "so sexy" and "it can turn on any girl", but honestly, it's pretty annoying.

"Oh, ha ha very funny," I said in a sarcastic tone while rolling my eyes.
"Just kidding dude, but why haven't you called or anything," we were now a couple minutes from school.
"I was busy.".
"With what," he asked with an unbelieving look.
"Stuff," I replied. I couldn't have him know that I was daydreaming about Laurence all summer. He still looked like he didn't believe me.
"Hm, okay. I'll stop asking"
Phew.
"But,"
There's always a "but".
"You have to tell me later. Come to my house after school and you have to give me every little detail about it. You can text your mom and tell her we're having a sleepover."
I have to make up an excuse for next time. Travis, why do you do this? I thought as we walked the rest of the way.

When I got to school, I said bye to Travis and went straight to my locker. Laurence is always early on the first days of school, so there was no reason waiting for him outside. I went to my locker and rushed to get everything for my first hour.

When I got to class, Laurence was sitting at the seat he sits in every year. Back row, next to the window. He always sits there, because he can talk without getting caught easily and he can look at all the hot girls in school. I hate it when he looks at them, but I just laugh it off and play along, since I'm the popular boy.I'm expected to be a womanizer and be attracted to every girl I see, but I'm not. I like boys and I know it. Why can't he see that I like him in "that" way?

I walk up to him, smiling like I had just seen him yesterday. Even then I would be exited, but I had to act normal.

"Hey, Laurence! I haven't seen you all summer. How've you been," I asked in a whisper, sitting down with a smile on my face.
"I've been good! I've even got a girlfriend, she's hot too," he whispered last bit.
"Oh, cool. I don't have one yet. So, I can do whatever I want," I said, a fake smile on my face. I already hate her.
"Alright class, you all know me. So, no introductions. Now, get to work," the teacher said, as he stood from his chair.
"Talk to you later" I whispered
"I'll tell you all about her at lunch" he whispered back. We turned our heads to do our work.

What? I didn't know what to do. He has a girlfriend. As in, he's taken. I couldn't let those thoughts get into my head. I'm supposed to be "The Womanizer",the playboy, the casanova of the school. I hate her so much. I wonder who she is?

The bell rung and I went to my locker, got my stuff and went to second hour.
