[ A/N: Oh boy, the first actual chapter! Hope you enjoy~ ]

You didn't know why you were here, with all of these strangers. They might as well be called such, given the fact that they were students that you rarely interact with at school. You were a shut in and the only reason you currently sat on a rotting picnic bench in the infamous Camp Crystal Lake was because your 'friend' had dragged you along to this. You didn't want to consider her a bad person for her recent actions. You just considered her... lost, desperate for the attention of the 'popular kids'. You simply agreed to come along in case she passed out and needed help getting home. You were irritated but you weren't cruel.

Currently, your friend was telling the fabled story of the very soil you all stood on. She had rehearsed the story in front of you to the point where you memorized every arch and every scare. Right as she reached the climax, a tall figure leapt out from behind her, the red and white of his hockey mask being the only distinguishable feature in the light of the fire. You didn't even flinch as everyone else screamed, girls in short, revealing clothing clutching tightly to muscle and leather clad boys. You felt sick.

"You jerk!" They shrieked as the masked figure revealed himself as your friends shiny new boyfriend. That was another thing, her boyfriend, Prince Charming and the school's favorite jock. You knew he was using her for her body, to fill his disgusting hormonal lust but did nothing to stop it. She had seemed happy enough, certainly happier than before. The boy cackled as a pulled out a six-pack of beer from behind one of the logs, passing one can out to each group member. You were relieved that there wasn't enough for you. They weren't going to ask you anyways.

Prince Charming plopped down next to your friend, draping his arm lazily over her shoulder and taking a large swing from his beer, not caring if a fair amount dribbled down the side of his chin. He wiped it off with the sleeve of his red sports jacket and handed the can to her, encouraging her to take a sip. "C'mon baby girl~" he cooed, "A little fun never hurt nobody!" You watched as she stared tentatively at the can, her eyes shifting from it's opening to the teens that cheered her on.

She didn't even look at you before quickly bringing the can to her mouth and tilting her head all the way back, downing the toxic liquid in a few large gulps. They cheered her on loudly, laughing hysterically when she coughed uncontrollably afterwards, her head snapping back down. You wrinkled your nose at the strong smell of alcohol that emitted from the small group. It was potent even from where you sat a couple meters away. Her boyfriend took the now empty can from her shaking hands and tossed it over his shoulder, rubbing her back to sooth her hacking fit. She tried to smile and laugh along with them amidst it all but you saw clear, suppressed discomfort in her eyes. Your disapproval grew.

After a few more rounds of alcohol, the group decided to go skinny dipping in the lake. None of them had brought much to prepare for their 'visit' to Camp Crystal Lake. The idea was suggested on a whim by one of Prince Charming's henchmen, who had only briefly heard about it's history on the news long ago. You weren't surprised, it's not like any of them would have the brain power to finish one page of a children's book. Their scholarships were wholly based on athletics.

You trailed behind the group as they headed down a small path towards the calm waters, picking up the trash that was tossed and placing it in a plastic bag to throw away later. You felt bad for the creatures these hooligans were scaring off with their overzealous behavior. Things must have been pleasantly peaceful before they came.

You noticed that your friend had managed to slip out of her boyfriend's groping hands to check up on you. "Hows y'doin?" She slurred, obviously drunk out of her mind. "I'm fine." You replied bluntly, continuing to look forward as she stumbled alongside you. "Izn't thiss fun?" She giggled, her hands loosely gesturing to the crowd that jeered in front of her.

You stared at them for a good moment, watching as they linked arms and sang the latest tune about 'beach babes' and 'vacation days'. "You seem to be enjoying yourself." You finally decided was a good response. Her brows furrowed in deep concentration and apparent confusion. "It's hhhot...!" She suddenly whined, running ahead of you and pulling off her shirt with a squeal. The group turned around and cheered, her boyfriend whistling and whooping at the reveal of her pink laced bra and matching panties. The other girls followed her lead and took their clothes off, jumping into the frigid water with a loud splash.

You leaned against a nearby tree, just far enough from the noise that you couldn't get another migraine. The sounds of the forest were louder here and you softly sighed with the calls of the birds and the chirps of the crickets. Their ruckus was blocked out and you focused on the whoosh of the wind, the rustle of the leaves, and the crackle of the branches. All that was missing was the soft song of a porch wind chime. The forest was truly beautiful if you took away it's history. Tall, arching pines that cut the moon's light, creating dancing patterns along the dark grass where creatures scurried back and forth in search of food for the upcoming winter. If you listened closely enough, you could hear a deer striding through the dead leaves of last fall, a twig snapping under it's hoof.

Your peace was cut short as someone called your name, and the sounds of the deer disappeared. Perhaps her voice alerted it. Opening your [E/C] eyes to locate the source, you found your friend calling you, her boyfriend's jacket around her shivering shoulders. It seems the cold water woke her up a bit as she no longer wobbled while she walked. You pushed yourself off of the tree, ignoring the indentations the bark made on the flesh of your arms and followed them towards a cabin.

With a little bit of elbow grease from the boys and a bit of dusting from the girls, they got the cabin tidied up to the point where they could stay in it for the night. Dark clouds rolled over the starry sky, and thunder rumbled in the distance. Moments later, fat drops of rain began to fall on the roof. It seems you'll have no choice but to stay for the night.

[ A/N: First chapter complete! A bit of a long one but I hope it was enjoyable none-the-less. Didn't want to introduce too many names because it's obvious they'll all die :P Anyways, see y'all in the next chapter! ]
