Lavinia Lastrange book 4

chapter 2

In the morning Ginny and Hermione shook Lavinia awake. She had got dressed and went downstairs. "Morning Girls. Would you go wake the boys up?" Mrs Weasley asked. Ginny and Hermione went up the stairs to wake the boys up.

After trying to get the boys up, the twins getting told off and after eating breakfast they headed out with Mr Weasley.

"Now we just need to find the portkey. It won't be big!" Mr Wesley said. They searched. "Arthur, we have it!" A man said. "Amos" Mr Weasley said walking over to the man and his son.

"This is Amos Diggory everyone. You'd know his son Cedric." Mr Weasley said. "Hi" Cedric smiled. They all said hi back or nodded to him. "All these yours?" Amos asked. "Just the redheads. This is Hermione, Harry, James and Lavinia all friends of them." Mr Weasley said.

Cedric went over to Lavinia. "Nice to see you again. Well on your feet at least" he said. "Yeah. Hopefully there's nothing I can fall over or that'd just be so annoying!" She said. "I think it'd be kind of funny!" Cedric smiled. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Say your in seventh year,right?" She asked. "Yeah, why'd you ask?" He asked. "Well my Cousin Jacob Tonks will be in transferring and he'll be in seventh year. I don't think he'd get into Gryffindor, his older sister was in Hufflepuff. If he is in Hufflepuff, could you like help him and that?" Lavinia asked. "Sure" Cedric smiled. She could tell why he was in Hufflepuff, he was so kind and eager to help others.

They all put a finger in the portkey. "Three.....Two.........One" Amos said. She felt as though a hook infront of her navel had been pulled forward. She was spinning and spinning till she hit the ground.

They were in the tent after the game. She was writing in the air with her wand. Hermione shook her. She got up. " what?" She asked. "Just get outside quickly!" Hermione said. She rolled her eyes. When she got out she saw that Tonks and Jacob were with the Smiths and Carl in a distance. 

"We're going to help the Ministry.  You lot get into the woods and stick together" Mr Weasley said. They all stuck together walking at a fast pace towards the woods. They were together until a group of people seperated them. Lavinia was now on her own seperated from her brother and friends.

She was looking around when she saw a boy her age trying to help a little boy. She went up to them. "You need help?"she asked. "Could you help? My little brother is stuck in the tent." The boy said with a Scottish accent. "Ok tell him to move back!" She said. "Thomas move back towards the beds!" The boy said.

Soon she levitated the thing that was on the way with her hand. "Go in and get him" she said. The boy went in to get his little brother. They soon came out. "Head to the woods!" She said. "Ain't you coming?" The boy asked. "I've lost some people. But if on the way to the woods you see a group with mainly ginger hair, tell them it's Ok! " she said. "No your coming with us. They are You-know-who's supporters. Your coming" he said.

She rolled her eyes and went with them. "Lavinia" someone shouted. She turned round to see James looking relived. He ran up to them. "Thank goodness i found you. I left everyone else. The Smiths,Weasleys and Carl are in the woods. Tonks and Jacob are so worried. While Cedric calmed them i ran off." James said.

They were all speed walking to the woods. "So what school do you go to?" James asked. "Well I'm going to Hogwarts this year. I'll be in fourth year" he said. "Really! We go to Hogwarts and Lavinia is in fourth year this year. Maybe we all could be friends!" James said. "Could you help me on my first day, like show me around!" He asked. "Sure. What's your name?" James asked. "I'm Harvey and this is Thomas!" Harvey said. "Well Harvey. Look for us when your on the train" James said as they entered the woods. Everyone rushed over. "You two Ok?  Merlin Liv you gave us a heart attack!" Carl sighed. "And you mister. Going out to find her!" Tonks said her hair a bright yellow.

It got time to head back. "Thanks for helping me and my brother.  I will always remember it and be thankful you helped. See you on the train!" He said leaving the woods. "How'd you help him?" Fred asked. "His brother was stuck and I unstuck him" Lavinia said.

After only having a couple of hours sleep Mr Weasley woke them up saying that it was time to go back home. Once they got to the portkey they held it and a few seconds later they landed on the floor. Cedric helped Lavinia up. "Helping you off of the floor once again!" He smiled. "Yeah. At least I didn't bump into you this time!" She said. They both laughed a little.

Cedric and his father walked off and James, Fred and George were walking with her. "What was that with Diggory?" George asked. "He was just helping me off the floor!" She told them. "I heard the words 'once again' and 'bump into you this time" James said. The twins shook their head in approval. "When Harry fell off his broom last year, I walked into him and he helped me up!" She told them.

They got back to the burrow and had breakfast. "Well I guess we'll go and talk to Aunt Andromeda, I'm sure she's been very worried. " James said. "Ok. See you on the train!" George said.
