Harry and Garry
Two best friends
People called Harry ebony
And Garry skinny
Harry was denied his basic rights
For his white pigments couldn't win over melanin in fight
He was victim of a social science topic called apartheid
The duo went on a walk
With their witty talks
On life and God
The supreme who is silent listener
To every conversation and unseen guest of every meal
Was pleased with their wisdom
And decide to grant them their one wish
God asked Harry " what is your wish son"
Harry who had inferiority complex
Due to his skin colour dark
For he was the herald who had no one to hark
He could think of nothing but to have a fair skin
God grant his wish
Made him a member of a so called civilized social discriminatory group called white
Finally Harry thought he could now roam free in light .
He shinned so bright
For he was on the peak of charming height ..
And it was Garry's turn
Beholding his friend's gorgeousness
Garry's resentful desires grew
He could have asked anything
But he asked God to turn Harry black again
The tale of two friends ends.
