I've got enough

Chapter 2

Cycy's POV

The day past by fast and before I knew it the final bell rang. I packed my bag and literally bolted out of the classroom. I was walking to the parking lot when the principal's voice rang out through the speakers, "Cecilia Anderson report to my office immediately". I stopped in my tracks and turned to the direction of the office.

The whole way there I tried to ignore the stares I've been getting and tried to remember if I did something wrong all day and came out empty handed I was so deep in thought that I didn't relized that I reached the principals office I knocked twice on the door before entering and closing the doors softly behind me. While entering I failed to realize that my parents where here.

"Take a seat Cecilia," the principal mr Hudson said. After sitting in a beige armchair I asked the question I had on my mind once I entered the room "I didn't do whatever you think I did!" I exclaimed.

"Honey, you're not in trouble we just had to change a couple things with our traveling plans," my dad said to me in the calmest voice I have ever heard from him. "Well, what is it?" I asked more calmly. "I am afraid that we have to leave to California now, our plane leaves in 2 hours," my mom stated boldly. I was in a state of shock. First they tell me we are moving without asking me what I think about it and now they tell me that we are leaving in only 2 hours. I erased all the emotion from my face and nodded. "I have to go say bye to my friends" i said avoiding their gaze. i got out of the chair and walked out with a collected posture.

I don't want to leave my friends and life here. I have so many things here that i can't leave. and now they expect me to be fine with it and not only that, but also be happy with it. Some parents they are, just going ahead and making a decision that big not caring what I think about it.

I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I was already in front of my friends. "What happened?" "What did you do" "What did they want" they all boomeranged me with questions. "Wow wow wow, slow down one at a time" I said with a chuckle. "What happened?" They all asked together. I am going to miss that . Suppressing any kind of tears I said with a shaky voice,"It turns out that I am moving now."

"What?"Jade asked her voice cracking. "My parents were in the office and said that our flight was changed to be in two hours," I said on the verge of tears. "No! You can't be serious," that's when I started crying."I am so sorry cecy, I didn't mean to make you cry" Jade said while hugging me. I silently cried in her arms and thought, why did this all happen to me?

" Well this is touching and all but we have to get going cecilia," my mom said. I wiped my tears away and whispered quietly to all my friends,"Bye." "Bye," they chorused back . I climbed in the car and waved at the window until we couldn't see them any more.
