chapter 1

||brielle's pov||
"elle, guess what?"alissa, my best friend says while we're currently standing in the junk food isle at walmart

"THE FLOOR IS LAVA"she screams i look at her and panic

she pushes food on the ground and cleared a spot on the shelf for herself

i don't understand how she could just throw food out the ground

pshh she's crazy i could never hurt my food

with only one second left, i jump onto the nearest thing to my right

which happens to be a tall boy who looks around my age

"hi nice to meet you, the floor is lava and you're my hero."i say smiling

"my name is daniel. not my hero"he says and laughs

i laugh as well

"BRI COME ON RICE IS WAITING FOR US!"alissa screams since we have left brian (ricegum) at home starving.

i jump out of the boys arms and compliment his eyes

"thanks dude i'll catch ya later"i say running out of the store

alissa and I have been best friends for who knows how long

and being the stupid teenagers we are, we decide to sit on a skateboard and let it take us wherever it wants,

and by that i mean down this tiny hill in our front yard.

alissa goes first and at the very bottom of the tiny hill, she swerves and lands on her butt

i start to die of laughter but when that dies, i get on the skateboard and stroll down the hill

i'm surprised i haven't crashed with my clumsy self.

right as i reach the bottom i see a familiar guy taking a jog

"hey you!um i mean dale!"i yell

the guy turns around and takes out his earbuds which we're playing softly i'm assuming since he heard me

he takes off his hood and walks over to me

"it's daniel not dale"he says laughing

"well if your name was dale you would look less attractive than you already are."i say

"are you calling me cute?"he smirks

"do pigs fly?"i say

he shakes his head

"then no."i lie

"okay then see you around stranger"he says and continues his jog

i notice he's a very fit guy, like god damn give me a piece of that cake.

lmao i'm joking

i think.

"who was that elle?"alissa smirks

i look at her and raise one eyebrow

"remember when you said the floor was lava?yeah well i didn't want to hurt the precious food and throw it on the ground so i just jumped on that guy."i say

alissa bursts into laughter

"i'm surprised he didn't throw you on the ground like most people do."alissa laughs

"shut up" i roll my eyes

it's currently 1:38am and i'm just staring at the ceiling

please don't think i have a depressing and lonely life

i do this every single night and then i hug my stuffed giraffe

even if i don't have someone to cuddle with this giraffe is my go to

sorry gigi the giraffe but it's true

alissa and banks are a pair in this house,
rice and his supreme clothes is another pair

and me? oh yeah it's just me and gigi the giraffe.

i swear i'm not lonely

i continue to stare at the ceiling until my eyelids start to grow heavier by the second

goodnight.

"hey babe wake up!"alissa says jumping around in her pajamas with printed jelly beans on them

"okay just five more hours"i say not even opening my eyes

and the next thing you know is that i'm over alissa's shoulders and she puts me outside of the front door and locks it.

"alissa i swear i'm gonna kill you"i say banging on the door

at least i'm in leggings and a hoodie

yes i sleep with hoodies, not shut your mouth and listen to the story.

45 minutes later rice opens the door with a bag of trash

"i know i'm trash rice i don't need that."i say

"woah chill, why are you out here and i was just taking the trash out"he says

"alissa locked me out,now if you excuse me i have to get ready to see my babes."i say and run upstairs.

i take a shower, do my makeup and do my hair and then i pick a simple outfit and run out the door

"peace out bitches!"i yell before driving away
||to kian and jc's house||
"hey turds what's poppin" i say while hugging kian and jc

"hey bri, how's life in the hills"kian says

"considering the fact that i'm single and lonely doesn't make it any better."i say while stealing an oreo from jc

"how bout' gigi?"jc says with his mouth full or oreos

"she's good, she's been keeping me company but she won't last very long also considering the fact that she's my stuffed side chick."i laugh

"you mean side giraffe because gigi is not a chick"kian says

"your dumb."i say

"finally something we agree on"jc says laughing

"yeet team brielle"i say

"fuck no its team jc"he says

after 5 minutes of nonstop arguing i decide to leave

"this isn't over you pop tart."i say while walking out the door

"at least people love pop tarts!"jc says right before i shut the door

i laugh to myself and drive away to a place called home
