Frisk's POV

"Ugh...What....I'm not dead?" I could've sworn that I'd die falling down...Did I die? Was the legend not true at all? I looked around to see anything unusual. And I did. A voice was heard and just right there on a buttercup, a butterfly was smiling. "Howdy!" There was a pause. 'I-It talked!?!' I screamed, horrified of what I was hearing. It was startled. It's wings weren't like a normal butterfly though. It had a weird design. It made me uncomfortable. It spoke to me again, "Do you need help? I can help you." As far as I know, this butterfly-err-creature seemed nice....and odd. I might have hit my head harder than I thought. I remember the legend saying that there were dragons, not butterflies. I looked around trying to find a way out. All I saw was water around me like a little island and a small field of golden flowers. To my surprise, there were more plants in the water-blue and green colors. They must have broken my fall. The cave was dark too, but it still had light from the hole above. I keep asking myself- how'd that butterfly enter here? The butterfly frowned, "If you're trying to find a way out, then you must look underwater. There should be an exit there." It sounded oddly really impatient. What is it up to? I tried thinking of the positive side of this creature rather than thinking it's goin to kill me right away.  It's quite helpful - which seemed oddly suspicious.  It looked annoyed the more I just stood there.  Well that took a deep and disturbing fucking turn.  Anyways, by the advice I've been given, I looked again - Determined to find the exit.  There seemed to be water surrounding a door in the water.  It seemed locked and also looked like it didn't have a door knob.  What else can open a door?  "Come on Frisk! Think!!" I whispered.  I can see at the very corner of my eye that the butterfly looked irritated and confused, but I was so focused to even care.  I looked around again. There. A switch in a small, cubed crack in the wall was found. Just great.  A puzzle to piss me off more.  Not only that - it was too high.  I don't have anything to throw at the switch either. My only items are the bandage and the stick. Items. This word just felt- weird and new.  It felt - disturbing.  I sat on the small bed of golden flowers, trying to figure out a goddamn solution to this fucking puzzle. I want to get out of here.  I need to know what really happened to our Leader of Magic years ago.  I need to live through this.  And it fills me with Determination.
