John Watson was a normal enough 16 year old boy. He wasn't popular but he had friends. Unlucky for him all his friends were in Carhill High which is approximately 100 miles away from where he was moving. So he knew no one. He was stuck in a boarding school 100 miles away from the only people he knew.
Sherlock Holmes however was not a normal enough 16 year old boy. In fact he had nothing in common with John apart from the fact that they were both 16 and both went to the same school. Sherlock was anything but normal. He could tell you your life story in one glance. Everyone called him "freak". Apart from John Watson.
