                       LOST

The dark clouds spread, across the sky, blanketing it, like a gruesome monster, searching for its prey. The soft, gentle breeze turned into the winds of melancholy, blowing away, all hopes of being loved.

 She stood looking into his eyes, searching for any last signs of meltdown. But his grey eyes were dark, steeled-in firm resolve. His face, stiff, without any expression, but his heart was bursting out, with the many untold emotions-he was choking with the words which were caught in his throat-the words, which he wanted to scream out loud-tearing the skies with it.

 Her blue eyes were slowly filling up with unshed tears.

 The skies roared, and cried their heart out, as the rain poured down-hard-drenching their whole world with cold, ice like, drops of water. He slowly lifted his hand and softly touched her warm cheek. She leaned into his hand, savoring the last few moments of his touch, his memories.

 "Goodbye and take care," he spoke out the final but the most painful words of his life. Devastated, he removed his hand from her cheeks, immediately losing the warm feeling. Turning back, he looked up at the sky as the tears slowly rolled out of his eyes, mixing, with the rain water.

 He walked away, leaving her standing in the rain, soaked thoroughly-hopeless, lost without her true love.
