Daniels POV:
D: Good night New York!
The crowd's cheers increased as we finished off our concert in New York. All the boys headed backstage. I went back to my dressing room and sat down on the couch scrolling through my insta feed. My eyes were yearning for sleep as the phone's light kept burning into them. I gave up on the fight and closed my eyes, drifting into a peaceful, much needed sleep.

Jack's POV:
I walked into the dressing room I shared with Daniel and heard someone snoring. I turned my head towards the black leather couch in our room to see a peaceful Daniel asleep with his insta feed still shining brightly on his phone. I  walked over to him, shut off his phone, and just smiled. I don't even know how my best friend can just fall asleep like that! My phone buzzed and I checked the screen. It said:

Notification:
Flight leaves in one hour

Oh no! I thought. The airports 30 minutes away from our hotel, and that's 10 minutes away from here, not to mention we haven't packed up yet!
I shook Daniel's shoulders in an attempt to wake him up.
J:Danny? Danny? Our flight leaves in one hour!!
His eyes shot open and his head flew up, colliding with mine and leaving an aching pain in both of our heads.
D: Huh?
He said in a sleepy voice while rubbing his forehead.
J: Our flight leaves in one hour! We gotta go!
He sat up, gathered his things, and we sprinted out of the building to the Uber waiting for us.
Jn: Took you guys long enough.
Z: Yeah! We're gonna miss our flight.
C: If we haven't already.
J: Relax, we can make it still.
D: I'm really sorry, I fell asleep.

Zach rolled his eyes at the mention of Daniels so called "excuse" and my stupid, cheesy sentence. There was a slim chance we were going to make it.

Our Uber ride was silent and went by fast, which was good. At this point, we needed all the time we could muster up. We all ran inside, shoved everything into our suitcases, and ran back out to the Uber. Corbyn checked his watch.
C: Our flight leaves in 20 minutes! Let's go!
Our heads flew back from the automatic amount of pressure applied to the gas pedal on the car. I'm pretty sure we were going over the speed limit, but it didn't matter because we needed to get to the airport, and fast.

We made it to the airport, found our gate, and practically chucked all of our tickets at the airport employees at once. We sprinted down the boarding hallway leading to the plane and we jumped into the plane just as the flight attendant was closing the door. We settled down in our seats as the plane tilted upwards and we began our ascent. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes, the rhythmic white noise of the plane lulling me to sleep.

Daniel's POV:
My seat was next to Jack's and I was happy about it. He was my best friend and we had a closer bond than I had with all of the other WDW members and I'm not quite sure why. We just have always clicked. Ever since we met.
I turned to read out loud a funny comment I saw on one of my insta posts when I realized he was sleeping. I smiled and went back to scrolling through Instagram. After a while, my eyes began to close too. Before I fully fell asleep, my head bobbed and tossed until it landed perfectly into the crevice between Jack's neck and the edge of his shoulder. I'm his best friend. I knew he wouldn't mind it.

Jack's POV:
My eyelids slowly opened up as I noticed the plane descending. I felt a weight on my shoulder and turned my head. I saw Daniel, asleep, with his head on my shoulder. I payed no attention to it, it kind of felt nice. I sat in silence and sent snaps to my streaks while waiting for the plane ride to be over. Daniel's my best friend, but I don't know. Maybe I'm starting to feel more.
