Family, Friend or Enemy?

"Hey guys what classes do we have?" A pastel purple haired girl with the brightest blue eyes asked, "We have Advance Science, Advanced Math, Metalwork, Woodwork and Spanish all week so that's going to be easy to remember, Winter." Peter opened his locker up and place the majority of his books inside, "why does Flash always looks at me? It's getting very creepy not to mention isn't he dating Liz Allen?" I state, Peter's eyes widen his nose flaring. Ned gives me the 'seriously' face.

I put my hands up to indicate that I was sorry that I forgot, Peter fancies Liz but Liz is dating Flash. Winter is in love with Peter but he doesn't know that, but Ned is Winter's secret admirer. I love myself but Flash is giving me his lovey dovey eyes even though he has a girlfriend but he doesn't deserve me since he's my best friend bully. So basically it's the circle of love, this is why being really close friends can lead to a nightmare that's why I don't currently fancy anyone.

Also not to mention my dad will probably murder whoever I'm dating but he won't know if I keep it a secret, since he works far away from where I currently live. The bell rang we all walk towards Science, the Science classroom isn't far from Peter's locker so we got the back seats. Science was easy all we had to do was create a formula that can dilute snake venom but that is still dangerous, we were halfway through the process when my watch was flashing red. I nudge Peter in the stomach and show him my watch, he nod and our hands flung straight up in the air.

"What do you two need?" The teacher said we both said in unison, "may we have a bathroom pass?" Carelessly he passed us both a bathroom pass and instantly we rushed out of the classroom, Ned and Winter looks at us. Winter was going to ask where we're going but we were out the door by then, we rush pass Peter's locker. He lifted the whole row of lockers with one hands and grabbed his suit, we jumped out of the closest window and run for it. We ran quite the distance until we found an alleyway and we changed into our suits, I was wearing my suit under my clothes whereas Peter he had to put it on. Unless you want to keep you identity a secret you don't want your high-tech gloves to be showing.

We put our bags on and we were off again, Peter swung from building from building while I parkoured through the streets of New York. The tall building with the word "Avengers" written on the side of it came into view, we land on the helicopter pad and took the elevator down to the main part of the building. "How long do you think it took us to get here?" Peter asked I shrugged, Tony always times us on how long it takes us to arrive he says it's apart of "training".

The elevator doors open to reveal Tony, Happy and Cap looking disappointed, "30 minutes 40. 5 seconds, really someone could've had died already you better have a great explanation up your sleeves." Cap said looking sternly at us,"looks like we didn't beat our score then." I look at Peter I wanted to laugh but I know it was inappropriate time for that, I instead look down at my feet disappointedly. It was a long awkward silence until Thor walked in, "Tony, Cap. Let the younglings go they did their best plus they aren't fast like the speed of lightning, why don't you two go and help Bruce out in the labs."

Thor winks at Peter and I then walks away into the other room, Peter didn't need to be told twice he was out of the room leaving me with Happy, Tony and Cap. "I think you two need to be alone, come on Happy I need you to tell me about the reports on the other Avengers." Tony and Happy walk out of the room leaving Cap and I alone, Cap looks at me waiting for me to say something.

"I'm sorry dad. I'll try harder next time even though I said that the last time I would try harder. I will put my efforts into it dad, I really will just give me enough chances." Cap looks down at me and smiles, he grabs my shoulder and shakes me. "I know you're trying your best Rainey but I know you can push yourself a little harder. The real reason why I called you here was that I want to organise a family dinner with your mum and brother, you think we can do that?" I smile at him, it has been forever since we had a full family dinner and I nod. "I love you Rainey." He kissed me on the forehead and he walked away. "I love you too, dad." I muttered under my breath, I wish I could say that to him without feeling like I'm out of place.
