She thought she was fine, they just didn't understand. They never did. She cleaned the knife she had just put against her mother's throat, wiping the excess of what just came out of the body on a white dirty rag. "And there goes the last one," she said as she dumped the last of the dead family members on to the ground. Her dad and brother also lay on the cold tiled floor, their blood spilled all around the walls and ground. She looks around and groans at the thought of the mess she was going to have to clean, until an idea had come to her head. She runs out of the living room and into the small kitchen, moving past her brother and father's hearts chopped up into small peices on the kitchen table. She heads to the sink and opens the cabinets beneath it then grabs the cleaning products her mother would always scold her for trying to use it on those girls her mother would bring over so Amira can "bond" with, when all she wanted to do was set them on fire. Grabbing the lighter from her pocket, she skipped back to where the odor of death came from and opened the container of bleach and ammonia then poured it all over the lifeless bags of bones and around her small house.
"You just had to understand, that's it. I just wanted you guys to understand!" she screamed, throwing the empty container on to them. She looks at the lighter in her hand one last time before lighting it up and dropping it on the floor. The house quickly engulfs in flames, Amira quickly grabs her phone and runs out of the house before she too will join the burning family. She's in her front yard her eyes meeting the horror she had created, mesmerized by the destruction that the fire had caused. She squealed in joy remembering that she had done this monstrosity and no one else. Amira suddenly remembers why she had took her phone out of the house and dialled 911.
"L.A.P.D how may I help you?" The person on the other side spoke."Help! It's my family, the house is on fire, come help them quickly!" Amira had cried into the phone.
The police and fire fighters had soon arrived at the scene. The house burned to the ground including the group of burned flesh that was Amira's family. Amira sat on the pile of dead grass, that was in font of her once home, and cried fake tears. One of the female police officers walked up to her and crouched at the little girl's level. "Hello there," the sweet lady smiled. "Hello," Amira sniffled. "How about I get you out of here, yeah?" The woman had asked. "I would really liked that," Amira had cried into her arms.
The woman then grabs her by the legs and hoisted her into her arms then carried her to her police car, putting on her seat belt. She, herself, gets into the car and drives to the police station oblivious to the fact that the young girl in the backseat of her car was the reason the house and the family were gone. Amira put her head against the glass and smiled thinking she was on her way to freedom. If only she knew that freedom wouldn't last forever.
