A/N: *internal screeching* After another way too long break, I bring you a new chapter. 43.2k is a shit ton of reads and I'm grateful to all of you.

To be honest, I had dropped writing nearly altogether while struggling with some personal stuff. I'm wanting to get back into what was once my favorite pastime and I'm hoping that this chapter is a start.

As always, please enjoy~

"Are you serious?!" His fellow band members shouted over the lacrima. They had met up an hour prior to warm up at the studio as Natsu went to his guild for the day. Natsu decided to join up with his band mates, stopping by an up and coming cafe.

"Why wouldn't I be? Our first live, this is HUGE!" Natsu was a bundle of joy and nerves as he thanked the cashier and held his ticket. "And we are the opening for Serenity."

'Wow. I mean...just wow!" He could practically see Makoto's wide grin. "Are you heading over? We have like a week, no, not even a week to practice those new songs of yours."

"Yeah. I stopped by this new cafe called Blackbird. It has a nice sort of..." Natsu motioned with his hands while searching for the words. "Aura? Aesthetic?"

"Natsu!" A nice lady called from behind him.

"Ah, that's me." Natsu hummed, reaching for his drink.

"What did you get?" Dana chimed in, muffled arguing making it hard to hear her.

"More like what did you do?" He opened the shop door and stepped outside, beginning his trip to the studio.

"Took the phone from Mako, Mako scratched Kyle while trying to get the phone back."

"Ah, sounds about right. Makoto needs to trim his nails anyway." Natsu chuckled, tucking the lacrima between his head and shoulder so that he could free one of his hands. There was a magazine on display with his face on the front that caught his eye. He paid for it and walked on, "There's a new magazine out today guys. Trash-zine 2.0 doing a follow up on this past week's rumors."

"Trash-zine?" Makoto choked, "What are you even doing? Channeling your inner hipster Natsu?"

Natsu suppressed a shiver, "Please don't ever use 'hipster' and my name in the same sentence ever again."

"Why? Don't want to be a stereotype?"

"I already am a stereotype. I'm your classic loud and destructive Fairytail mage." Natsu sipped at his drink, "Ah, when you get the chance order a dark roast from here. Blackbird has the best coffee."

"Will do." They all cheered. "See you when you get here!"

Natsu chuckled as the call cut off, putting away the lacrima. Natsu decided go by his house and change into something other than his guild wear.

Not even an hour later he walked into the studio with his outfit changed and a smile on his face. He placed a few folders on the table, ushering them over to pass them out. "I did something a little different with them this time. The lyrics are in line with the notes now instead of on a separate paper."

"I like it. Who gave you the idea?" Makoto hummed, wiggling his eyebrows at him.

"Nobody." Natsu huffed, opening the recording booth door to set up his mic. "Is it so hard to believe that I have ideas too?"

Dana giggled, "We tease. What is this song about Natsu?"

Natsu hummed, adjusting the stand. "Well..."
