Max put down his phone and sighed, "David, go away."

However, his father continued to knock calmly on his door, "c'mon Max, one family night won't hurt," David said, smiling faintly at the thought of them all sitting around a board game, laughing, giggling, enjoying themselves. He racked the door again with his knuckles.

"Ugh, fine. I'm not doing it for you, though." The small child replied, hopping of his large bed and down towards the door. He unlocked it.

"I should probably remove that lock. Anyway, me and Jasper have already set up Monopoly." The enthusiastic adult claimed, smiling. Max rolled his eyes, "let's get it over with."

His phone binged.

Max groaned with annoyance and glanced at the messages.
