Archers POV
Stupid milk. I say to myself.
Where the fuck is the cereal?Ok, Im Archer. Im 18 and I cant believe i'm writing this shit. But my mum told me that it would make me a 'better person'. My mum gave me this book when my father died. Its called Ashes. But it has nothing in it, so im writing in it.
I have a girlfriend called Ashley. Shes a dumb blonde cheerleader. Im going to dump her tomorrow, she thinks that we're 'a thing'
I have some minor anger issues. Im sitting on the kitchen counter.
"Archer, darling!" said my mom.
"What?"Me and my mom have a really close relationship ever since my father died.
I feel like its my duty to protect her. She's all I have left.
Enough of all this sadness shit.
"Can you go to Boots and buy me some pads? Im on my period darling."
Yea, my mother is a little bit to comfortable.
"I didnt need to know that, and ok"
"Thanks darling. You know I love you."
"I know."I head out with my book.
To boots to buy period pads. I thought. How miserable. Oh and did I mention Im riding my sick skateboard?Suddenly I land fucking face first on the hard concreat floors.
"BITCH!" I say.
I turn around and see a girl, only a few inches shorter than me, knee scraped and nose bleeding. She had a book, that looked exactly like mine, but green. Mine is red btw.
"Im fine thankyou." She says sarcastically."Where did you get that?" I growl, using a low voice so that noone except for her can listen.
"I got it from my brother, when he died in the war." she says, almost on the verge of tears remembering her dead brother.
An unexpected pang of guilt hits me right where it hurts.
"Fuck!" I say. I look down and see vines crawling around my chest, and green vines coming out of the girls hands. Shes crying, i thought.
Once she realizes what shes doing, she says, "Go home. NOW! Go home, and don't look back."
Without thinking, in a matter of seconds i find myself running towards my house.
Its olny when my body hits the bed i realize.
I forgot the damn pads.
