Lucas POV

I walked into Longisle school with my usual dark aura trailing behind me, as well as four other guys I have known for years. My outfit, a black jacket, red and white striped shirt, tight black skinny jeans, and black converses. My black hair shined in the hallway lights. People back away as I walked by, expect one boy who was reading a book. I walked over to him and leaned over him with my six foot, nine inch frame, looking at the book he was reading. It was a gay novel about a 12 year old and his senpai. I laughed a out loud.

He looked up and seen me laughing at the book he was reading. His big geeky glasses, were hiding his neon blue eyes, as well as his long, perfectly shaped neon green hair. He looked be about five feet tall and wore oversized clothes. He didn't show any sign of fear, instead closed his book and leaned under my arm, walking away from me.

I looked over at Hector and said. "You saw that, right? He wasn't affected by my pheromones."

Hector looked just as puzzled as me. "It is odd. Maybe he can't feel them because he is oblivious to the situation."

I heard him stop and turn around. He looked me dead in my eyes and said. "I am not oblivious to the fact that you are vampires. I just don't care. Me being the shy kid in school, even knows when you have to stand up for yourself, even if you get beat up in the process. You still have to defend yourself at all costs."

I looked shocked as he turned and walked into the library. This boy is something else. He spoke his mind, even though I could feel his hard racing as he spoke.

I motioned my friends to follow me. I walked into the library with them and walked over to where he was sitting. I leaned down, but before I could see him, like he had super speed, he ended up sliced my check. I looked shocked, seeing him holding a special dagger, used to kill vampires.

Now I get it. He's not scared or affected by my pheromones because he is the last descendant from the Well's family.

I put my hand up when my friends were about to attack him.

"You're something else. Rosemary. You also got skill." I said, reaching up touch my cheek. "So you killed over six hundred of my kind in your thirteen year life spanned. Didn't you start killing when you were 2 years old?"

"And what if I did? You vampires are the reason I lost my parents and ten siblings. I will never forgive any vampire that comes near me. I witness my parents and siblings murder and I killed the vampires who did it at the age of two years old. I didn't show any mercy because they didn't show my family any." He said with pure hatred of my face.

I looked down at him. "So do you plan on killing me, even though I have done nothing wrong?" I asked.

He looked down and sighed, putting his dagger back in his backpack. He got up and grabbed my  head down towards his face. I felt something wet, touch my check and realized he was licking the wound. I felt it close, because I couldn't heal it myself. He let go of me and sat back down.

"I had no right to attack a vampire who hasn't done anything to me. So I apologise." He said, opening his book and continued to read. I touch my check in shock that the wound was completely healed.

"Did you just heal me with your saliva?" I asked in confusion, my friends were confused as well.

"Yeah. I was born with saliva that heals pure blood vampires. I know it sounds crazy for a vampire Hunter to help a vampire, but I was in the wrong, so I fixed a simple mistake. Nothing else." He said as if it was a normal thing.

"Well, that does sound a bit crazy, but you should know, the vampires at this school don't kill humans, I make sure of it. After all the headmaster is my father and he is a vampire." I said.

"Trust me I know." He throw a small book at me and I caught. "Every vampire in this city name are in that book. Take it and look at it."

I opened the book and looked through the book, seeing 625 names scratched out. I continued looking and seen my name and all of my friends names in the book, but then they suddenly disappeared. I looked up at him and he smiled, as he continued reading.

"I don't do this often or at all but you guys seem okay, so be grateful that I did. All I had to do was blink five times and you and your friend's name disappear from the book."

Wow. He's unbelievable. I think I might be in love. I don't care if he's a vampire Hunter, I want to make him mine. I will make him mine.
