Chapter 10

AJ's POV

So let me give you a run down on where we are at. Its the ninth month in Emma's pregnancy and ive been at uni for just under a month about three weeks. Emma is a very cranky, hormonal and emotional pregnant woman but im giving her loads of cuddles and tending to her every need.

Remember how i said i wanted to get inot Oxford? I got in! My parents were shocked to hear it but were pleased and there was a big family party which was more like an interigate Emma night but she didnt mind but to be on the safe sid ei made a romantic evening for us as a sorry,

My spare room is no longer a spare room, its a nursery. We dont know what were having, the ambilical cord is blocking the view so i got my dad, mum, Tracy and Derek to help and we painted the room a yellow colour with tints of gold and its got a island look to it and it goes well with the wooden furnature we bought,

If its a boy were calling him Nicholas and if its a girl Nicola.

I got up with a groan and shoved my alarm on snooze and lay back in bed "you have to get up!" Emma groaned as she lay in my arms and the baby bump resting on my abdomen. We felt it kick and we btoh shot up, it had kicked before but both of us have never felt it at the same time,

I held my hand on her stimach as it kicked again. I hugged Emma tight and kissed her head "i love you sweetie!" i said and she burried her head in my chest "i love you to AJ!" she siad just as there was another kick,

"and i love you to!" i said and kissed the baby bump. I looked at the time and i relaly needed to get up. With a groan and a shove from Emma i got out of bed and in the shower. I let the water run down my back as i washed my ahir and and body.

I got out the shower half an hour later and emma was still in bed "come on sweetie!" i said as i kissed her cheek "im pregnant let me sleep!" she said as she threw a pillow at me causing me to laugh,

"alright, my mums up in an hour so have fun!" i said and she groaned "i know i feel your pain!" i said as i went and looked in my wardrobe. My mum had become very fussy over us and the baby and it was annoying but we loved her.

I chose on some grey skinny jeans, a black shirt, a balck tie with piano keys on it and some blakc converse. I tied my hair up and put my glasses on as i looked at a either sleeping or resting Emma, she looked so darn cute when she wa slike that.

I grabbed my bag from the desk chair and kissed her cheek and she moaned "i'll see you when i get back sweetie, you three have fun!" i said and i kissed her lightly "love you!" i said and she smiled "love you more nwo shoo!" she said and gave me a light shove,

I laughed lightly as i left the building and got into my car. I drove to the university and i still got butterflies in my stomach as i approached the buildings and as i looked at them. I parked my car and headed to my first lecture, Mr Cpoin for Computing.

I went into the old building and into room 320 and took my seat in the middle on the green leather seats that were very uncomfortable. The seering bell went and more students came in the room. I took my laptop, note bok and pencil case out my bag as the lecturer came in.

He started the lecture and it ook notes as he talked. I was enjoying the lecture, i get it im a nerd. I was understanding everything he was saying just as my phone vibrated in my pocket. I glanced up at Mr Cop[in and he wasnt looking my way,

I took my phone out and discreatly read the text from my mum-

Hey sweetie, i know your at a lecture but thought i should let you know Emma has gone into labour, love you oh and remeber dont speed you dont need a ticket!

I shot up and left the room before Mr Copin could finish his sentance on Analysis, I ran to my car calling my mum "hey sweetie whats wrong?" she asked camly,

"what hospital?!?!" i said as i ran into the car park, i heard a scream fo pain and it hurt my heart to hear it,

"Melrose nwo hurry up they said she's six centimetres!" she said as i flung my bag in the car and hoped in,

"tell her im on my way and she's not to worry!" i said 

"okay sweetie take you time but do be qucik!" she said and i hung up and threw the phone in the passenger seat.

I didnt listen to my mum as i did over a hundred to the hospital. I skided into the parking space at the hospital and bolted it up to the receptionist desk "Emma Hilling!" i said out of breath. the lady just looked at me and looked at the computer. She slowly typed on the computer and i wa salready pissed of with her,

"come on woman she's goiving birth and i need to be there!"  said and she slowly looked at em stoping tyuping "relation to the patient?" she aske din a slow monotone voice "im her girlfrien now where is she?" i asked and she slowly looked back at the screen "room 4096 to-" i didnt wait to hear the end as i rushed to the elevator,

I clicked a random button and hopped for the best. The doors opened and there was a sign, rooms 3900-4000 to the left rooms 4001-4500 to the right. I dahsed out and turned right as i looked along for 4096,

I found the pink door with a small window and rushed in. Emma was on the bed looking like a tomatoe, a nurse was conforting her but failing while my mum read a fashion magazine "AJ you made it!" my mum siad and Emma looked at me with relief,

I rushed over to her and took her hand "its okay sweetie im here!" i said as i kissed her hand and the nurse looked relieved as emma let go of her hand "alright Emma im just gonna check how your doing!" the nurse said as she got some feeling back in her hand,

She looked down at Emma's well area to see hwo she was doing and smiled back at us "alright Emma you can start pushing now so when you need to push just npush!" she said and Emma nodded and i wrapped my arm round her shoulders,

"its alright beutiful its gonna be okay!" i whispered in her ear and her shoulders relaxed a bit. Her face scrunched up as she pushed, her grip got tighter on my hand to realese some of the preasure. "good thats good your doing great Emma!" the nurse encouraged and Emma lay her hea dback on my arm,

"it hurts to much!" she said out fo breath and i kissed her cheek "its gonna be alright princess dont worry just think of the little baby thats gonna be in your arms at the end of this!" i said and a light smile was on her face,

"it still hurts!" she said and i laughed lightly "i know sweetie, its gonna be okay dont worry!" i said and lightly kissed her. Her grip on my hand got tighter again as she pushed for the second time "great Emma i can see the head!" the nurse said and i kissed Emma's head,

"almost there baby!" i whisperede in her ear and she nodded "good!" she said and i smiled and held her close to me. After three more ig pushes and me loosing the feeling in my let hand baby Nicholas was born at 7:56 and weighing 6lbs 4oz .

He lay in Emma's armsas she lay in mine. My mum was telling my dad on the phone while pacing the room. I looked down at Nicholas as he burried hsi face in the blue blanket he was wrapped in "i love you Emma!" i whispered in her ear and her smile grew wider,

"i love you to AJ!" she said we kissed lightly!
