Dancing flowers // KLANCE AU

~Keith~ch.1

I fix some of the flowers on the display int front of the window. I look up when i hear a chime of the front door. "Welcome to Red's flowers!" I gave the person a nice smile as they looked around. "Do you have Anemone?" Someone asked me. I look at him, he was beautiful. He had beautiful sun-kissed skin, mesmerizing ocean blue eyes, and a pile of light brown hair on his head. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt with a pair of well worn blue jeans.

I felt my heart rate start to quicken. "Y-yeah" i stuter "shiro can you get this nice man some Anemone?" I ask shiro, a tall man with black hair with alittle white puff on the top, he has toned muscles. He wears a tight black shirt and the red appron with the Red's flowers logo on it and a pair of white jeans. I went back to fixing and taking care of the flowers.

"Yeah. Right this way sir" he says as he directs the young male to where the Anemone are. I start helping some customers at the register when the sun-kissed male comes up to the register to pay. I wrap the flowers he had picked in white paper with plastic over it so the flowers didnt drip all over. "A pretty choice you have made." I smile at the other male.

"Thanks" the male smiles. Oh gosh his smile was too perfect. "Who should i make this out to?" I ask grabbing the white card decorated with little flowers on each corner. "Rośa" he smiles again. God its just so per- AGH SHUT UP KEITH! I mentaly yell at myself. Rośa is probly his girlfriend. I thought mentaly smacking myself.

I finish wrighting the card and stick it carefully into the clear plastic card holder i put into the boque of Anemone. I input all the information into the register. "That'll be $13.20" i tell the man. The brown haired man pulls out his wallet. "I thought thies were free" the male joked. He winked and laughed. Which was so pure. I laughed back "yeah sure" i rolled my eyes jokingly as he handed me the exact change.

"All set" i smiled and handed him the boque of flowers. "Have a nice day sir" i said as he started walking away. "You too!" He smiled once again. After a few Shiro comes up behind me and scares me as i was checking out a customer making the little old lady chuckle. "SHIRO!" I scream as he scares me. Shiro starts laughing so hard he has to bend over. "YOUR SO EASY!" He says laughing.

I turn away from him apologizing to the lady and kicking Shiro in the process. I finish rining up the lady and turn to Shiro who is now sitting on the counter next to me. "Your so easy to scare keith" he pokes me and i stick out my tounge. "Ill get you back sometime soon." I tease. "Anyway want to come have dinner with my family tonight?" He asks carefully. "No im good." I give him a reasuring smile. I HATE when people treat me special since my mother- "okayyy" whined Shiro.

I know Shiro didnt want to hurt me. His family is like my family but their not my family. I have no family. My father left before i was born, my grandparents dont care anymore, and my mother..my mother. "Keith? You ok?" Shiro riped me away from my thoughts. "Yeah im fine just staring off into space" i smile trying not to worry him. "Okay let me know if anything bothers you" shiro pats me on the head and goes back to work.

After i had closed the shop i head upstairs to my small but comfortable living space upstairs. It has a small kitchen but i can deal with it because i dont cook. Shiro sometimes comes over and cooks for me. It also has a small space that has a couch and a TV. A room down a small hallway which is my bedroom and next to that a bathroom. I plop myself on the couch sighing and grab my phone. He sighs when he sees he has no texts from anyone. Not that he has anyones number.

The only person who has his number is Shiro. I get up to get a shower and get ready for bed. Just as im laying in bed i get a couple texts from Shiro.

FLOWERDAD: hey keith? Are you seriously okay? You seemed realy down earlier.

FLOWERDAD: also did you eat? Want me to bring u left overs?

KEITHYBOI: yes shiro im okay i promise. And yes i did eat.

Keith hated lying to Shiro. He didnt want Shiro worrying about him anymore than he has. But in reality keith was on the verge of tears just with the name of his mother. He was scared of the dark. The fear of hearing the ripping of skin as the knife sliced through-

KEITHYBOI: I lied. Can you come over?

FLOWERDAD: i knew it im on my way

Keith regreted telling shiro that he wanted his company. Keith made sure that all the little night lights were working and pluged in before shiro got there. Shiro knew keith cant handle the dark anymore. He knew that he sees that horrid sight of blood spattering all over and his mother's terifyed scream every time he closes his eyes.

Shiro made keith feel safe. Hes the only one keith opened up to ever. Once Shiro came over to the flower shop keith felt safe as shiro stayed with him until he fell asleep.
