She fakes a smile every day so they don't know. Every time she hears someone call her boyfriend "she" or "her" or anything female, she wants to slap them and correct them. She wants to say "his name is Logan. He is male. Use the correct pronouns!" yet she can't. Her boyfriend knows to call Emma by her name, but he's forgetful sometimes. She reminds him about it and tries her best to remember it.

She loves Emma and Logan. They're fun to be around. Logan understands her almost perfectly. He's over emotional sometimes, but she still loves him. Whenever people say the wrong pronouns when they know that they're transgender, she tries not to scream.

"Its not that hard! Just switch the genders and say the names they prefer!" Yet no one would listen to her. She's just a stupid girl. She still screams. She screams as loud as she can, hoping someone will hear her. Only a few understand and accept. They think its awesome and they love them even more.

"Pay attention! Your child is trying to tell you something!" Parents ignore her screams. They don't understand and she's trying desperately to help them. She wants them to be happy.

"Don't talk about that! Its not there on them. Don't do that! You're making them uncomfortable and insecure!" Other people ignore her, very few listen. She screams louder, her voice becoming hoarse.

"They deserve the same rights as us! Stop being so unfair!" This is her loudest scream, yet society can't hear. She's losing her voice every time she screams.

So she's typing this out, sitting on the bed with no one around. She's lost her voice. She's not able to scream any louder. I am this girl. I am the girl that screams all day and all night, but I've lost my voice and no one hears me anymore. Now its your turn.

What will you do to help? Will you scream to be heard? Will you scream as loud as you can until your voice is gone?
