Friendship

(Moana POV)

                          I can't believe its already been four days since me and Maui saved my island. I've seen him around but.. he hasn't really spoken much to me. I've been really busy lately. Now that I am chief. I mean... I haven't had very much free time. Not until today at least! I'm excited to be able to go and do something. Maybe I could go out on the sea for a little, or stay at home for today, or work on the boat, or maybe... talk to Maui? I don't know... I guess... ill see if he is able to talk... since... ya know... he is a demigod... and he is busy too. But ill go see.

(Maui POV)

                          Why is Moana always so busy? I've been tryin to talk to her... she's been so busy with being chief and... she hasn't had much time to chat. Actually... she hasn't had any time to chat. Today most of the village are going out to fish at sea for today so... she should be free... right? I don't wanna bother her if she is... I don't want to get in her way... ill go see if she has anything going on. Maybe me and her can just simply hang out for a little. I really don't wanna bother her if she's busy. Since we gave back the heart. I haven't said a word to her since that. That was four days ago! Too long not to talk to a princess like her!  I at least need to know how things are going for her! Make sure she's alright. Nothings wrong. Yea... ill do that! Its just looking out for a... friend.

(Third Person)

                             They each wondered around looking for each other for who knows how long. Moana walked into the main part of the village looking around. Maui looked for her at the beach. Eventually... the two went into the dark caves where the stored boats in cold weather. They searched everywhere. Backing up... they both ran into each other. Just very suddenly.

(Moana POV)

                               Gahh! I screamed falling onto the ground holding up a stick I found beside me. But when I looked up. It was Maui standing above me holding his hook facing me. "Moana... you almost gave me a heart attack." Maui said holding his hand on his heart jokingly. Well its not everyday you run into a guy with a huge hook... while in a cave... ya know? I laughed. And he chuckled in response. "That is true. But... what exactly are you doing in here anyway?" He asked me. You should be askin yourself that question. I said poking him with the stick I still had. "Well... I was looking for you... figured you could be in here working or somethin like that." he said looking down at me... still sitting on the ground. Oh... why were ya lookin for me? Need help with somethin or... what? I said looking at him. "Actually..." I looked up at him again he was blushing a little. "I was just hoping we could hang out for a little... since we haven't really had the time for it past few days...UH... UNLESS YOUR BUSY WITH SOMETHING I MEAN... I DONT WANNA BOTHER YO-" Actually... I was looking for you too... I'm free... if you wanna hang out? I said smiling at him. "Oh... uh... heh... s-sure. He stuttered while blushing.

(Maui POV)

                                 Why am I acting so odd around her suddenly... its like... I cant talk to her... without sounding stupid in some way. Gosh... what is going on???
