"Brandon, Come on!" Jess exclaimed, "Come On Brandon!" "Okay, okay Jess," Brandon said. Brandon was Jess' older brother and they were planning to go fishing that morning.
Brandon opened the trunk of his moms black mini van and inside he put: two fishing poles, one container of worms, a small box of hooks, and two pairs of gloves. Brandon closed the trunk and Jess was standing right in front of him. Brandon jumped. "Are you ready yet?" Said Jess cocking her head to the left. Her pigtails flipped too, and Brandon said "Yes Jess, we're ready to go." "Yay!" Jess exclaimed happily jumping up and down. They both got in the mini van and Brandon turned on the radio for the two hour ride.
As Jess dozed off, Brandon pulled into a small gas station because he had to use the bathroom. He didn't want to wake Jess so he rolled down the window some, got out, and locked the doors. 5 minutes later, Brandon came out of the store with a bag of chips and a Pepsi. He opened the door and realized it was unlocked. His eyebrows furrowed, "That's strange," he mumbled to himself pulling open the van door. "Jess did you un-" He turned to the passenger seat where Jess should be. But isn't.
Brandon dropped his chips and Pepsi and got out of the van. "Jess!...Jess!" He screams over and over again but gets no reply. Brandon ran into the store to ask the cashier if she has seen a small girl with blonde hair and a pink dress she hasn't seen her. Brandon ran to the phone and dialed his moms number...no answer. He tried again and got the same dial tone. He then dialed 911 and a woman picked up the phone, "911 what is your emergency," she says
"Um... I sorta lost my younger sister she's abo-" "Hello?" The lady said confused, "Yes I'm here I've lost my younger sis-" "Hello? If you don't answer I'll have to hang up" she irritatingly said. " No! Please don't my younger sister is missing and-" the phone hung up. "Dang it!" He yelled dropping the phone. He turned around and the cashier wasn't there anymore. Just as he's about to leave, the lights start flickering on then off again. He ran out of the store and reached into his pocket for his keys, but they are gone.
"No, no,no this can't be happening.I must've left them in the car." He whispered. He put his hand on the door handle and pulled. But it wouldn't budge. He tried again and nothing. All of a sudden, the car veered backwards and slammed into a gas tank. Gas went everywhere and
Started spewing in all directions. Brandon's clothes got drenched In gas and he started coughing from the fumes. Brandon looked up, and in the far distance he could see a man. The man started getting closer and closer and he now realized that the man had a large weapon in his left hand. Brandon screamed, turned around, and started running.
Brandon ran for about 2 miles or so until he was absolutely sure that the man wasn't behind him anymore. He took a break and started walking for what seemed like forever to him until he saw a store. It looked exactly like the one he just came from except this one wasn't damaged. Brandon ran to the store and there in the parking lot, sat a black mini van. He checked the license plate and it read his mom's exact numbers and letters. He approached the van slowly because he didn't know who or what was inside. He tiptoed to the window and peeked inside, there in the passenger seat sat Jess, her eyes were closed. But Jess was severely screwed up. She had an arrow through her skull and blood was pouring everywhere.
Brandon gasped and stumbled backwards. Her head snapped in Brandon's direction and her eyes shot open. "Brandon, why did you leave me?" she cried her face frowning. "Brandon why?" Her voice growing angry, "BRANDON WHY!" She yelled bursting through the drivers door. Jess was now only 3 feet away from Brandon. She cocked her head and a wide grin spread across her face, and in an instant she was gone. This left Brandon in complete and utter awe. He stood there for a second taking it all in then he ran into the store. The same cashier was there from earlier.
He stared at her for a split second then asked for the bathroom key. He went in there and immediately turned the sink on to cold. He splashed the cold water onto his face shocking him. In the mirror he told his self "you're fine, everything is fine. When you walk out that door everything will be back to normal." He splashed the water onto his face once more and took a deep breath. When he came up he looked in the mirror and directly behind him, was Jess. "Hi Brandon!" She chirped before wrapping her strong hands around his neck and strangling him. He let out a horrific scream and awoke to Jess's voice "Brandon! Wake up! It's time to go fishing!"
