"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP UP UP YOU LAZY FUCKERS!" Maira says in a really loud tone.

"SHUT SHUT SHUT THE FUCK UP" Lizbeth says and then throws a pillow at Maira.

"Come on now it's morning"

"What time is it?" I ask

"Its 5 a.m"

"What, then why did you wake us up so early?" Vivian asks

"Because you guys take forever to get ready" Maira says

"Well we're up so let's just get ready" I say

I was currently in my 5th period and I don't talk to anybody in here except  Grayson. I'd usually sit by him but it would be a little awkward don't you think?
So I just sat pretty far from his seat.
The teacher was giving instructions of some class work we have to do in partners.
While everybody was moving around to be with there friends I just sat there awkwardly when someone tapped my shoulder from behind.
I turned around to see a guy with a smile on his face.
"Wanna work with me?" He asked

"Sure"

He pulled up a chair next to my desk
And introduced him self.

"Well hi my name is Jack Gilinsky and you looked a little lonley so I though i'd work with you"

"Oh well my name is Jessica Martinez and i don't really know anybody in this class"

"Cool well now you know me" he said giving me a big smile

"Well I'm gonna go get the assignment I'll be back" I said

"Alright" he said leaning back into the chair.
I walked up to the teachers desk and got the papers.

"Hey Jessica" I heard someone say  from behind
"Uh hi" I said
There was an awkward silence
"listen I don't want things to be awkward between us" Grayson said
"Well how do you want things not to be awkward?"
"Lets just be friends"
Well that hurt a little
"Fine"
"Then that way things won't be awkward right?" He asks
"I guess... well I got to get back to my partner...'friend'

And with that I walked away, it hurt because I did like him but if he doesn't like me then what's the point in being interested in someone who doesn't feel the same.

"You know Grayson?" Jack asked

"Yeah I guess you can say he's an  acquaintance of mine"

"Okay well anyways let's do this stupid work"

Schools' over so now I'm walking home when suddenly a car beeps at me.
The car window rolls down and Graysons face is revealed.

"Hey need a ride?"

"Sure" its better than walking home

I opened the passenger door and hopped in.

"Well I guess we'll do the project at your house right?" He asked

"yeah sure"

"Have you eaten?"

"No have you?"

"No do you want to get something to eat?"

"No it's fine we can just order something at my place"

"Okay"

We finally got to my house and I unlocked the door.
Ricky was sitting in the sofa drinking a coke.
"Wow Ricky"

"What?" He asked

"You really couldn't pick me up from school because you were 'so busy'

"I WAS  busy can't you see?" he said pointing to the tv

"You're such an ass"

He ignored what I said and went to go high five Grayson
"What are you doing here dude" he asks Grayson

"Just here to do a project with your sister"

"Oh okay I see" he pauses "Hey but no funny business"

"Nah dude"

"Alright come on" I said going up to my room

"Nice room you have here"

"Uh thanks...so wanna do it on my bed, the floor or my desk?" I ask

"Um how about your bed" he said wiggling his eyebrows

"Oh my gosh stop" I said laughing realizing what I had said

"I'm just kidding"

"Okay well let's just work on my bed"

"Alright" he said

We opened up our text books then his stomach growled

"You hungry?" I said letting out a small laugh

"Actually yeah"

"Wanna order Chinese take out?"

"Yeah that sounds fine"

"Okay come on"

We walked down stairs and Ricardo was gone

"Well that boys fast" Grayson said

"Yeah"

I orderd what we wanted and in the mean time we sat on the sofa and put on a movie.
We kept our distance because you know we're just friends.
Untill he scooted a little closer and I didn't really mind it i guess.
