"You're Park Taeyeon, correct?"
I nodded. "Thank you for taking your time to interview me."
"You're welcome. I can see you're a quite pretty and well-mannered lady." Yang Hyun-Suk said.
"Thank you."
"Now, for the interview. We're just going to ask you to introduce yourself to start off and we'll then ask few questions, don't feel pressured."
I could feel my palms getting clammy. How could I not feel pressured? "Alright."
"Okay, you may start."
"My name is Park Taeyeon, I am 23 years old, and I enjoy drawing as a hobby. Art is one of my well-practiced passions, so I think the job is for me. Thank you."
Yang Hyun-Suk nodded. "Do you go to school?"
"I quit school after high school."
"What were all your jobs, and if you had any previous ones, why did you stop working?"
"I've only worked as a bartender at Kingsley Club."
"And what's the reason you don't want to work there anymore?"
"I've never enjoyed the atmosphere of clubs-the loud music, the drunk smell, and the cigarette smoke. I found myself dreading to go to work everyday. It was time I started working a job that I enjoyed."
"Why did you continue working at that job for so long?"
"I needed the money, to pay rent, and live on my own."
Yang Hyun-Sun nodded. "The artworks you sent in the e-mail were quite impressive."
"Thank you." I smiled.
"Ever thought of being a model?" He suddenly asked me.
"Not really...I don't think I'm photogenic enough for that." I laughed.
"I won't push you if you don't want to do it, but it's an offer." Yang Hyun-Suk said. "I like your attitude, I think you'll be a good stylist."
My eyes lit up. "Really?!"
"Yes. But being a stylist can be stressful, so be prepared. You'll have a busy schedule and will be traveling everywhere will the idols you're styling." Yang Hyun-Suk looked at the other staff in the room. "What do you all think?"
Most of the staff nodded confidently, while others just nodded with stoic expressions.
"You're in." Yang Hyun-Suk finally said. "Your work starts tomorrow at 5 a.m. in the morning, so come prepared."
I nodded in excitement. "Ah thank you so much! I'll try hard to impress you all!" I stood up and bowed, shaking hands with everyone.
I made my way out of the building happily, knowing that I found a new job. The only thing left was to quit my old one, and work.
That night, I made my way back to the club to quit the job. I said goodbye to all my coworkers (that I wouldn't miss) and got ready for the next morning.
###
The next morning my alarm went off, and I got ready, straightening my hair and putting on makeup.
I pulled on a pink turtle-neck with come black jeans and smiled at my reflection in the mirror.
Then, I grabbed everything I needed and drove off to YG.
"Hey, I'm the new stylist. Do you know where I need to go?"
"Oh, follow me." The lady nodded and led me to a room, which had some staff members inside.
"Ah, Miss Taeyeon, you're here." A man said in a higher pitched voice. "Welcome!" The man had medium length hair, with the tips of it dyed purple.
I smiled and nodded and everyone, greeting them.
"We're going to be training you for the next couple of weeks, showing you how we want you do dress the idol, and just make them look presentable. We will put our trust in you to glammer up those kids." The man winked. "My name is Jeon Minyun, by the way."
I nodded and shook his hand. "Thank you. I hope you all can depend on me to do whatever you need me to."
"Of course. Be comfortable with us, we're you're co-workers who you will be spending a lot of time with, so let's become good friends."
The two other ladies smiled.
One had dyed blonde hair, and amazing features that made her look like a cat. "My name is Choi Jin, pleasure to meet you."
I shook her hand. "Nice to meet you."
"I'm Kim Suhee, I hope we can become great friends!" A girl with pastel pink hair and amazing eyeliner said in a happy voice. "I like your outfit by the way, and your legs look so long."
I laughed and thanked her. "It's very nice to meet you."
"We need to introduce you to the person you'll be styling for a long time." Minyun said. "Come with me."
He led me up the elevator, and clicked on a button. It led us to the third floor and we stepped out.
"Ever heard of WINNER?" Minyun asked.
Is WINNER the people I'll be styling? Seunghoon will be there! I nodded, eyes wide.
"Good." Minyun pushed open the door, revealing four boys sitting on the floor. It looked like they were stretching. "Boys~~"
The four guys looked up. I recognized all of them immediately.
"Hyung!" Jinwoo stood up and greeted my coworker. He was very adorable and had big eyes.
"Hey Jinwoo!" Minyun chirped.
I saw that Seunghoon's eyes widened when he saw me. I smiled sheepishly at him.
"Taeyeon! What are you doing here?" Seunghoon asked.
"You guys know each other?" Minyun asked, questioning it.
"Yeah...it's a long story." I chuckled.
"That's great!" He said. "It'll be easier for the two of you to be comfortable around each other anyways."
"Why is she here?" Seunghoon asked.
"She's our new stylist!!"
"Wait." Seunghoon turned to me. "REALLY?"
I nodded in happiness. "I ditched my bartender job and found this much better one!"
Seunghoon smiled in excitement. "I can't believe this..."
The other members looked at the both of us weirdly. "Seunghoon, did you get a girlfriend?"
My cheeks turned pink. "No! We became friends a few days ago. It's a really weird story about how we met, actually, but that's for another time." I said, fiddling with my fingers.
"We're just friends!" Seunghoon assured.
"It's funny how this all turned out, really." Minyun said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Well, you're Seunghoon's new stylist."
