Since when did I deserve this punishment?
A boy thought to himself, sadly.
What do I have to do to solve this problem?
The boy thought again, looking at the rain that is falling onto the ground.
His thoughts were interrupted by a sudden knock on the door.
"My Lord, I have your afternoon tea."
A cold voice stated on the opposite side of the room.
The boy took a jumpy breath and muttered: "Enter".
The door opened and revealed a tall man dressed in a butler suit.
"Your tea My Lord. "
"T-Thank you Sebastian. "
The butler said nothing and left the room without a word.
From that action, Ciel started crying. How? How did his loyal demon butler suddenly change his character and treat the fledgling so coldly?
Ciel finished his tea, took a jumpy breath and called the demon he loved so much.
"Sebastian. "
The said butler entered the room.
"You called My Lord? "
"I-I'm done with my tea. "
The demon said nothing, took the tea cup and turned around to leave. That is, until a small voice called out to him.
"Sebastian. I have a question. Do you hate me?"
Sebastian turned around and said:
"My Lord, I'm going to be honest about this and answer. Yes, I do hate you. Ever since you became a demon, I have felt nothing towards you and will continue to despise you until the end. I was nothing but a slave to you. I had to tolerate your behaviour for the past 3 years and in the end, I get nothing out of it. Now if you will excuse me, I will take my leave. "
And with that, Sebastian left the room.
From that point, Ciel started crying and started thinking:
Who am I kidding. He definitely despises me. I want him to be happy, but what can I do? I know, I will run away from here and never return. That way, he wont have to serve me and be happy for the rest of his life.
Ciel concluded to himself, smiling sadly at the thought. He took a pen and a paper out of the drawer and wrote a note to Sebastian.
Dear Sebastian
I know you are upset with me turning into a demon and so will leave this place in your care.
You may also have the servants work for you and you can become the master of this household
I hope my decision will make you happy...
