"Get back here, you damn furball!", a gaggle yelled as they chased one single person through the winding lanes of the desert city Klugetown. It was a young female cat, running at high speed, not giving a damn about the angry screaming of the pursuers. Her fur was pure white as snow, her golden yellow eyes shone in the darken allies and her hair was long, red, tied up to a ponytail and swayed smoothly in the wind, and so did her soft long tail.
Clenching a small package in one of her arms, she zigzagged and ran straight through the busiest streets of the city, in order to shake the angry mob off. Her plan was working. Soon the furious shouting and footsteps behind her died away. After a while, when she felt safe, the catgirl stopped her tracks and glanced behind her.
Proudly she purred: "They really thought they could catch me? What a bunch of idiots. No one can catch me!" "Oh really? Is that so?", suddenly someone spoke behind her back and tapped her shoulder. Startled she flinched and hauled off to hit the stranger behind her.
Her punch failed because the unknown grabbed her wrist quick as a lightning and spun her around to face him. "So violent~. You know that this kind of attitude doesn't quite suit a girl, Laisha?", he laughed and nudged her nose gently with his free paw.
"C-Capper! W-What . . . What are you doing here?", the catgirl, called Laisha, stuttered confused as she saw the brown tomcat with the black hair, green eyes and red cloak coat in front of her.
The taller cat just grinned, wrapped his arm around her hips to pull her closer against him and grabbed her chin to make her look straight into his eyes. Laisha blushed and her heart throbbed hard inside her chest. Capper's face was awfully close to hers.
The odor of his body tickled her nose, making her shiver in a flurry of excitement. And these green eyes, which were glued to her yellow ones, made her legs feel like pudding. Why was this guy so utterly handsome?
And as he finally answered her question, it didn't make the situation any better. "I was looking for you, kitty cat~", he purred in a low tone, bringing her face even closer to his. Laisha already felt a heat spreading over her whole body, from the tips of her ears to her tiptoes and her tag.
She couldn't look away from him, one of the reasons was because he was holding her chin firmly in place so she couldn't turn her head. In order not to make the situation seriously awkward, Laisha replied with a shaky voice: "L-Looking for . . . me? W-Why?"
"Hmmm, what do you think~?" Okay, now his face was definitely TOO CLOSE! His breath grazed her face. Their lips were only a few centimeters away from each other. Now Laisha's cheeks were practically redder than any tomato on this world and her heart hammered like crazy. She felt each heartbeat pulsing through her body.
But before she was about to close her eyes, expecting him to close the gap between their lips, he suddenly drew away and ruffled her hair playfully. "I was going to ask you if you want to accompany me on my trip to Equestria. My last one was a long time ago already." Laughing he let go of her hair as she started to smack his paw irritated.
This guy was unbelievable! Seducing her and then ruining the mood completely, that was absolutely preposterous! Okay, it wasn't like Laisha didn't know about his charming character and casually flirts with women, but doing this to her was really bad for her heart.
Not only because she was afraid to have it jump out of her chest each time, it was more because of the pain she always felt afterward. It really hurt her him doing something like that to her, because she knew that he didn't mean one single word.
Laisha was the only one who got excited about all this sweet talk, because . . . she loved him. Of course, she never had told him that. Her fear to get the mitten was too big. Both had grown up together and had been best friends since they could think.
