We went downstairs together and he still babbling what he going to do later. I will shot him later. I saw mom prepared our breakfast. I looked at Seungcheol who sat casually. Don't he work ? I glared at Joongki before sat beside Seungcheol. He looked at us weirdly.
" Are you sure that both of you not dating ? " Seungcheol asked curiously.
" I won't date him " I replied.
" It hurts " Joongki exclaimed and burst into laugh. I rolled my eyes.
" What your job ? " I asked Seungcheol.
" Idol " I looked at him from head to toe.
" Don't look like one " I commented.
" That really mean ! " I shrugged my shoulder.
" What's group ? " I asked.
" You don't know ? I sent you every show I'm in. This really hurtful " Seungcheol faked cry.
" Oh that Seventeen. Well, I'm too busy to check it but congrats " I said in same tone. Seungcheol gave me 'that's-all' ? Look.
" We need to go, bye " I excused myself.
Joongki drove us to hospital. I took a glance at Joongki who walked confidently. Totally fake. He acted like that to get attention. I rolled my eyes before walked in. I got text from dad that told us to find a doctor that will guide us. Joongki got a woman doctor while I got man. Good try, dad.
" Hi, you must be Dr Choi Younghee, right ? " I turned around and saw a handsome guy with white coat.
" Yes, I am and you're Dr Jeongmin ? " I asked and he nodded.
" I will guide you for the whole week. So let's be close " He said. I smiled and nodded.
" Dr Jeongmin, your patient - " before she could finish, he already run.
I don't know why but I followed him. I looked at the sign. This was the kids section. I stopped running when he entered one of the suite. I wore my doctor coat before stepped in. It was six years boy who cried but more like he mad. They tried to calm him but he don't want. I don't see any of his parents outside or either inside. Is it he alone ?
I made my way to that boy when Dr Jeongmin can't calm him. I stopped the nurse when they going to shot him. He was a kid that can't stand with shot. He will be more hurt. I pulled him into my embraced. I sang a calm song. At first, he pushed me but after a few tried, he slowly accept me. I gave signal to others to leave.
We stayed in that position until he fallen asleep. I laid him on bed carefully. I pulled the blanket until his chest and caressed his hair. You was a strong boy. I'm sure, you will be fine. I stepped out from his suite and found Dr Jeongmin with Yerin ? I looked at them confusedly.
" Is it that boy was your son ? " I asked Yerin. She nodded.
" Dr Jeongmin was your husband ? " I continued and she nodded. No wonder, he really panic early and his eyes turned red.
" He need both of your support " I said.
" We not strong " Yerin exclaimed.
" If you not strong, then don't give birth of him " I said annoyedly. Yerin was shock with my words same goes to Dr Jeongmin.
" You guys are his parents. If your guys not strong, he will be more weak. Don't show to him that you guys hurting to see him in that condition but give him a proud smile because you guys proud at how he fight with death " I explained.
" There no parents want to see their child hurt " I added.
" Younghee " She called me. I know what she going to do.
" Take a rest, Dr Jeongmin. I can handle the others. Just for today, stay by his side. Hold his hand and tell him that how much you love him. I'm leaving " I walked away.
I stopped on the half way and turned around. If my child still alive, I really hope that I could do that. I sighed and left them. I went to counter to get a few information about Dr Jeongmin's patients. I need to check on them later. I glared at person who poked my cheeks. Of course, you know who.
" How your first day ? " He asked.
" It not even pass 2 hours " I replied. He chuckled.
" You were right. I got morning session next week " He said excitedly.
" Not same. I got night " I said.
" I guess your dad listen to you " He commented.
" Good then "
" It not. I want to be around you " he pouted.
" I'm going to lab to get my weapon " I exclaimed. He glared at me.
" I'm off " He left. Bye !
I looked through the patients information. I found out about Yerin's son. I sighed when I found out about his sick. Brain Cancer. I closed the book and tried to find team under Dr Jeongmin. I need to handle them. Just great. He should introduce me to them but now I handle them. I shook my head. It for Yerin. Now, I know why she looked tired.
