Dear Stranger.. Help me find my parents?

chapter1;

Bad weather stopped me from going any further. I'd just got off the plane in Edinburgh, Scotland and I'm absolutely freezing. Huh, Britain's colder then I remembered.. Anyway, all i gotta do now is find my way down to Nottingham, the city me and my parents lived in before I was kidnapped. I hope they still live in that little old house, because otherwise.. well basically? I'm screwed.

I had to stay in a hotel room for the night. Of course I was going to leave before they noticed I haven't payed - and it's not like I'm taking anything, right? Well except maybe the food.. but I need that, I'm starving, and I am probably going to need it more then these people. Plus I need something to keep me going tomorrow. I stared at myself in the mirror, that was hanging from the wall, admiring how much I've changed over the years. My once blonde hair, was dyed a jet black with mixed coloured highlights in it. My pale complexion now has a California tan and my chubby little features were now filled out. Erin White's not even my real name; Chelsea Turner is, but I had it legally changed. All thanks to the monsters who took me. (I refuse to refer them as people; what they did was inhumane).

I decided I should probably shower seeing I will be leaving early tomorrow but there was a knock on the door that stopped me in my tracks. "Excuse me, miss?" a voice called from the other side. "Umm, yeah?" I replied opening the door, revealing a boy in his late teens. He looked as though he was around 17 or 18.

He smiled warmly at me. "I was just wondering, If I could use your shower? Mines broken and my rooms right next door."

Only then did I realize how beautiful his eyes were. I must have been staring cause next thing I know he gets this huge smirk on his face and my eyes narrowed at him. "No" I answered curtly. I think his eyes widened slightly at this; heh, must be used to getting what he wants. Can you say spoilt?

"And why not?"

"Why not what?" I shot back, with what I hoped was a smug look on my face.

"Way to be immature" he muttered under his breath, almost a whisper.

Pfft. I am not immature. Much. Okay maybe a little! but that isn't my fault; growing up around kids younger then you affects you allot. I wasn't going to admit that to anyone though, least of all this jerk at the door. "So can you leave now? Im sorta getting tired." He checks his watch and then looks at me like I was an alien. Why is he looking at me like that?

He checks his watch one more time. "You're tired?" I nod. "At five o'clock?" Again, I nod. "Seriously?" Another nod.. "At five?" Nod. "In the afternoon?" What is this, twenty questions?! Gosh he's annoying! "Yeah.. So I'm tired at 'five in the afternoon,' what's it to you?"

"Well Isn't it a little early to be sleeping?"

"I just got here from California, I'm heading out early tomorrow morn.. why the hell am I telling you this anyway?"

He shrugged. "Beats me." I scowled and closed the door in his face. Jerk! I talked to him for all of 10 minutes give or take and he's already made me so mad!

Ugh! No, I'm not going to let this bother me. 'Deep breaths' I chant over and over to myself. ]

When I was calm enough, I turned the shower on and waited for it to heat up. I grabbed a towel off my bed that one of the maids had left out, and walked back intot he bathroom. Once the water was hot enough I climbed in and well, you don't exactly need a scientist to work-out what I did. After drying myself with a towel, I went to my rucksack and pulled out my favorite pajamas and climbed into bed, wondering what tomorrow would bring me.
