We pulled up into the mall parking lot and I was just barely out of the car when I saw him. Matt. are you kidding me? I thought to myself. "Hey look whose over there!" Jordan yelled. then he turned around. I faced Jordan and whisper yelled "are you serious right now!?" I didn't want him to notice me. he made me feel insecure for some reason. Vanessa started laughing "lets just go inside." She said. Fine by me. We got food first I got starbucks as I went to go sit down Jordan and Vanessa started laughing them Jordan said "Delia you are the ultimate white girl." oh please. Vanessa handed me her cup. "pleeeeseeeee" she said. "fine but you have to get your own re-fill next time." then I got her refill and not thinking didn't put the lid on because it was too much work I was looking down as I was walking and next thing I know Vanessa's Orange soda had fully made contact with the guy in front of me before I could realize who it was I was grabbing napkins like crazy and wiping off the stain "again in so so sorry!" I said then a somewhat familiar voice said "its fine, I didn't really like this shirt anyway" he said laughing. oh my god I know who this is. I don't wanna look up. then I went against my own wishes and saw Matthew. The reason I hoped it wasn't him was because he acted like he hated me, he talked to everyone but me which I find quite rude. I could hear his friends and my friends laughing really hard. great they get to see how awkward this is. "Again I'm really sorry!" I said looking up at him. He was so cute wait what? I don't think he's cute. Maybe I do? I don't know. then he spoke "Its fine, like I said I don't even like this shirt." I looked at him weird "then why did you buy it?" I asked then he just shrugged he was lying to make me feel better. then it hit me he was lying to make me feel better! Maybe he's not so bad. then I offered him money for his shirt and he just told me to keep it after kind of helping him clean off his shirt I said bye and that I'd see him tomorrow. my friends looked at me like I was some sort of alien. "what's your guy's problem?" I asked then they both smiled at each other and were jumping up and down. "Delia! you loooooovvvvveeeeeeee him!" Vanessa said "oh please I do not" I said looking down "oh yes you do! that's the same way you looked at jake a year ago!" Jordan said. oh yeah jake. I forgot about him. He was the first guy I ever loved. And Matt is far from being where jake was. "You guys need to go take naps or something, because I looked at jake way differently." they both nodded their heads in agreement but they kept giggling so I knew they didn't believe me. Anyway it doesn't matter. I don't like him. right?
