blossom

her hair blowing freely in the
cool breeze, while she
prances around giggling with a wide smile on her face, trying to catch falling cherry blossoms as they tumble down gently.

she stops when she notices that the wind is no longer blowing.
she pouts and crosses her arms on her chest almost as if having a tantrum.
her feet clomp on the concrete floor as she makes her way to a beige bench.
she sits down and blows a loose strand of hair out of her face.
as her eyes come into focus she sees a boy, about the same age as her staring at her with a bunny like smile on his face,
his hands behind his back.

he then extends his arms and opens his hand, with a beautiful cherry blossom resting there.
he nods at his hand gesturing her to take it.
she smiles, and slowly grabs the leaf into her hold.
she stares at it for a while, while the boy sits down next to her.

" im glad you like it.... "

" y/n, my name is y/n "

" ahh well i'm glad you like it y/n "

they both giggle and stare at eachother for a while until they get interrupted by a woman calling for someone but y/n can't quite make out the name.

" sorry y/n i gotta go! my mommy is calling for me! "

he says, and quickly jogs away to his mother. y/n gasps realizing she never gotten his name.

" WAIT! YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOUR NAME! "

y/n shouts with all the energy she has, but that mysterious, fun, cute boy was already out of her sight.

" i promise i will find you and we will meet again, bunny boy "

y/n whispers to herself and heads home.
