How can I love someone I can't

Chapter 5

Albus's heart was beating fast, he is finally gonna tell Scorpius how he really feels about him. Albus had no idea where to start.

" I uhmm I am... In love..." said Albus looking down

"YEAH!! Great who's the lucky girl?"

"Not a girl actually....."

"What?"

"I am in love with you"

"What!?"

"Im sorry I love you Scorpius!"

There was a rush in both of them. Albus already feeling anxious and scared of what he was doing wishing he had never said it. While Scorpius stood there feeling nothing knowing that your best friend loves you is too much to handle.

"I love you too, mate" said Scorpius

For the first time Albus felt joy that would last for eternity! He made a big smile that went up his ear.

"As a friend" said Scorpius

That joy vanished that very second Albus almost cried. It is funny how three words can make your heart jump with joy, but at the same time three words can make you fall of a cliff. Albus sat on a chair and looked at Scorpius and said nothing. No word in human history would say how painful it was.

"I'm sorry" Scorpius said "never in a thousand years would they accept us"

"THEN I'LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT A THOUSAND YEARS! Cause thats howI love you!"

"Im so so sorry mate"

Albus ran away in tears but he thought of what he did, It was stupid. He felt stupid to think that he would accept him.
