"Jacob?" I didn't even have to move to know it was my mom. She always called me by my real name.

"Yeah mom?"

Suddenly hungry, I went down to the kitchen and grabbed a bag of hot cheetos out of the cabinet.

I sighed. Why does my phone have to ring every time I try to eat? I pressed accept anyway.

"Hello?"

"Prince?"

"Yup." I said, popping the p.

"I need to talk to you."

I popped some Cheetos in my mouth. "I'm busy Christina."

"Whatever. I can hear the bag."

I rolled my eyes even though she couldn't see me. "Can't we talk over the phone?"

"No."

"I suggest you come over here because if you wait on me I will conveniently out of reach until tomorrow."

She sighed irritably. "Whatever. I'll be there."

"Who pissed in your imaginary corn flakes?"

"Shut up Jacob."

She hung up in my face. Well then.

About 30 minutes later she showed up at my door.

"It's open!" I yelled, not bothering to get up. She knows how I am before 1 in the afternoon.

She sat down in the chair and looked at me. "I want you to meet someone."
