Draco's POV

It has been about one week since the holiday break. I found a Daily Prophet newspaper the front page had Harry on it. "Harry Potter comes out as gay," read the title. I read the article and was surprised that Joe Ellis didn't make anything up. I mean the whole ordeal was enough to grab someones attention.

I would walk the halls and hear students whispering saying, "Did you hear that Harry Potter is gay," or, "I wonder who he is dating," or, "What do you mean the golden boy is gay." I felt happy when people would say, "I wish I was the boy Harry is dating."

I continued walking through the hallway to get breakfast in the Great Hall. I got porridge with fried sausage and pumpkin juice. I sat next to Pansy and Blaise at the Slytherin table. I looked around but I couldn't find Harry. Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Neville were at the Gryffindor table. I wondered why Harry wasn't there. Maybe he slept in late or went to the bathroom.

"Have you guys seen Harry?" I asked Pansy and Blaise.

"He passed out. It's nothing serious," Pansy said, "Hermione took him to Ms.Pomfrey and came back."

"Why did he pass out?" I asked concerned.

"He looked really tired and he was rubbing his head," Blaise said, "He must have had a bad headache and passed out."

"I'm gonna go see him." I said getting up.

"Okay, see you in a bit." Pansy smiled.

"Tell us how he is doing." Blaise waved to me as I left the table.

I left the Great Hall and walked to the hospital wing. Hermione followed me out and caught up with me.

"Good morning Draco," Hermione smiled, "I presume you are going to see if Harry is okay."

"Yeah I am." I said.

"Don't." She pulled at my arm for me to stop.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"He needs rest he couldn't sleep last night." Hermione replied.

"Why couldn't he sleep." I asked.

"Harry has been having bad dreams lately, and he stays up crying." Hermione replied, "Ron and Neville try to comfort him but it doesn't work. So, they got Ginny and I but we couldn't calm him down either."

"What are the dreams about." I was so confused.

"They are dreams about the war. He keeps seeing Fred die. He also watches Sirius get hurt." Hermione looked down, "He visits Sirius at a magic hospital. He always cries saying it was his fault this all happened, and that so many people died to help him."

"Bloody hell, why didn't he tell me." I said.

I felt like crying. Why didn't Harry tell me? Was he embarrassed? I should know about this kind of stuff. I knew cried every once in a while but he has been crying every night. I wish he told me.

"Harry won't be attending classes. He needs rest and he needs to eat. I know you're worried Draco and I'm sorry I'm not letting you see him. I will tell him you are worried. Go back to breakfast. I have to take Harry some food. We'll talk later." Hermione said.

"Okay Hermione, talk to you later." I sighed.

I walked back to the Slytherin table in the Great Hall. I sat back down next to Blaise and Pansy.

"Is everything okay, mate?" Blaise asked.

"Yeah, Harry just didn't get much sleep he stayed up finishing homework." I lied.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Pansy asked.

"It's almost time for class and I don't want to be late." I sat up.

"We'll see you in class I guess." Blaise waved.

I left the Great Hall and walked to my first class, DADA. I opened the door and saw Severus looked up from his book.

"Good morning Draco." Severus smiled.

"Good morning Severus." I smiled back and sat in my seat.

"Ms. Pomfrey said Harry wasn't going to attend any classes today. Do you know why?" Severus asked.

"He's been having dreams about the war. He stays up crying. He doesn't sleep or eat. He passed out this morning because of it." I explained.

"Will he be okay." Severus was actually concerned about Harry.

"I think so, he just needs rest." I replied.

"Good, the other students should be coming in now. Unless they all are late." Severus smiled.

Just the Gryffindors and Slytherins poured into the room. I didn't see Hermione in her seat. Ms. Pomfrey probably had her do something for her.

"Good morning students, today we will be--"

The door suddenly burst opened and Hermione walked in. She sat in her seat silently.

"Ms. Granger do you have a good reason for being late to my class." Severus asked.

"I have a note from Ms. Pomfrey." Hermione held out a note for Severus to take it.

"Well I suppose your tardiness is excused." Severus took the note and continued his lesson.
