Chapter 2: where am I
I have always imagined how it would be to live in a different world. But I never expected it to be real. I walked around my regular neighbour hood after a really strange feeling walk and I walk into my house to see my mom screaming. "Who are you" she said in a terrified voice, you wouldn't image the shock that I receive, I'm her daughter that left this place just a few hours ago. How could she not know who I am, but before I could explain I saw her reach for the telephone to call the cops. I ran with tears in my eyes, how can this be happening. I went my best friends place and I got the same reaction. What's going on?? No one remembers me, this can't be happening right! This must be a dream, I pinched myself really hard and it really hurt. How???
I don't really know how this happened, one day I'm living an almost perfect life, but what compares to this! I'm wondering around the place going through the neighborhood that I called home. Honors knows who I am, just as I thought that things couldn't get any worse, I hear a voice in the corner of my ear. At fist I ignore it thinking that it wasn't mentioning me, but then I feel a gentle tap of my shoulder.
Startled I turn around see a young boy, about the same age as me with bright blue eyes. With black hair spilling from his shoulders. Though I hate to admit it he looks kinda cute, but he has a look in his eyes that you just want to turn away. I have never liked boys before, they are annoying and simply disgusting. But this one rubs me a different way, a way that I never felt before. Have I met him somewhere before? But before my questions come out of my mouth the mystery guy grabs my hand and we start to run, then suddenly we hear a loud explosion. What have I gotten myself into?
This chapter is dedicated to harika20, for encouraging me to continue this book.
