Forgotten Gilbert (TVD)

Intro

Cassiopeia Gilbert was the twin that everyone forgot. Of course, she couldn't care less. She had all she needed. She had a loving little brother, Jeremy Gilbert, and she had a few friends; Tyler Lockwood, Matt Donovan, and Vicki Donovan. Her parents were never physically abusive to her, they just ignored her very existence. Her twin sister, Elena Gilbert, was a different story. Elena hated Cassie. That's just how it is. When the girls were younger, Cassie was hurt by the fact that Elena didn't like her. As they grew up, she just accepted it. Once the two girls got to high school, it was very clear what crowd the two of the would fit into. Elena ran with the popular kids, she was on the cheer team, she had the quarterback as her boyfriend, and life was good for her. Cassie did not have the same experience. In Elena's eyes, Cassie was a loser. Cassie was with the unpopular crowd. She did gain two popular friends though. One fateful night, Cassie and her family drove off Wickery Bridge. This is Cassie's story.
