Chapter 2

I woke up to the beeping of my alarm. I got up and got dressed in dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt. I drove to school and parked my car, I walked into the school and stood in front of the reception desk. The lady on the computer, who looked around 50, looked up and smiled at me. "You must be Vira" she said, I nodded and smiled back. She gave me my time table, locker code and a map of the school. I went straight to my locker and stuffed all my stuff in there. I looked at my timetable, 'great I have double history' I thought to myself. I closed my locker and started walking to class. Walking through the halls someone bumped into me and I fell to the ground. "HEY WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING" I yelled to the figure above me. I stood up and looked at the figure, 'great it's Isaac' I thought. He started laughing and I said in an angry tone "what are you laughing at?". "You should have seen the look on your face when you fell" he said between laughs. I dusted myself off and kept walking, someone walked beside me and I turned to see who it was, it was Isaac... I stopped and turned to him. "Why are you following me?" I said slightly annoyed. "I have history, and it's this way" he said. I groaned because I probably had the same class with him. I kept walking and walked into class. I took a seat in the back and Isaac sat in the seat next to me.

I ignored him and opened my art book. I heard a voice saying "nice drawings", I looked up and saw a girl standing there. She looked familiar, and then that's when it hit me. "Nina!" I said while jumping up and giving her a hug. She hugged me back and we sat down, "long time no see bestie" she said while smiling widely. I laughed "yea, it's been a very long time". When class was over it was lunch time, I sat down with Nina at a round table with 3 other girls. "This is Evie" Nina said while pointing to a girl with blond hair. "This is Lucy" she said while pointing to a girl with brown hair. "And this is Tiana" she said while pointing to a girl with red hair. I sat down and smiled saying "I'm Vira", they all smiled and we ate our lunch. I started eating, but someone came and sat at our table. I looked left and saw Isaac. 'Argh! Will he just leave me alone' I thought. "Hey Neighbour" he said while nudging me. "Hey Idiot" I said sarcastically. He gave me a pouty face and said "now, now let's not be mean". With that he stood up with his food and walked off.

The girls looked at me with their mouths hanging open. "What?" I said with a confused look. Tiana spoke up and said "Your neighbours with Isaac?!". I nodded and kept eating, Lucy said "He's like the hottest player in school!". I shrugged my shoulders and kept eating. We all ate in silence and then the bell went. I went to English and sat down, first came in Lucy, Evie, Nina and Tiana. We all sat at the same table and the class went by smoothly. I went to woodwork class, even though I like art, I don't like to be told what to create. I took a seat at the back and a figure blocked my light. 'Crap, I'm with Isaac again' I thought. I looked up and saw another boy standing there, he had and angry expression and he looked tough. "Can I help you?" I said looking at him blankly. "Your in my seat" he said through gritted teeth. "Hey look buddy, there are plenty of other seats... now go" I said clearly annoyed. He still stood there and I could feel him breathing down my neck. I stood up and looked him in to eye, even though I was short. He grinned and I punched him in the face. "VIRA! Go to the principles office right now!" said the teacher slightly cross. I groaned, packed my stuff and stormed out of the class. I went to reception and she said "take a seat" and continued to type at her computer. After a few minutes she spoke "the principle will see you now" she said. I stood up and went to the principle's office. "Vira Smith, punching class mates in the face are we?" he said without looking up from the papers. "About that, I'm really sorry, I don't know what happened..." I said while looking at the floor. "It doesn't matter, 3 days of suspension and that's it" he said. "Please no, my mum would kill me if I had 3 days of suspension after my first day... I'll do anything" I pleaded. "Very well miss Smith you will be Isaac Austin's tutor every day for the next 3 weeks, as I see your good at school" he said. I nodded and said "thank you" and headed out the door. I groaned 'Why, why me!' I thought. The day ended and I had to go home and help Isaac. I heard someone running and then an arm sling around my shoulders. "Hey tutor" I heard Isaac say. "Hey fish face" I said in return while grinning. "Aww come on why you got be so mean" he said while pouting. 

I walked towards my car and got in, the passenger side opened and Isaac got in. "What are you doing?" I said while looking at him. "Oh yea, my friends took my car and I need a ride" he said while grinning. I sighed and started my car, the trip was in silence. We pulled up at my house and I got out. "So your house or mine?" I asked while locking the door. "Mine" said Isaac and he started heading towards his house. I followed, we went inside and up to his bedroom. I sat on the bed and pulled out my books and laid them down. Isaac sat next to me and pulled out his books. After the tutor I packed up my books and stood up. "Hey Vira wait... Why don't you stay for dinner?" He said said while standing up. I turned around and said "sure I'll ask", I pulled out my phone and texted mum.

~Hey mum can I have dinner at Isaac's?~
~Sure darling just be home by 9 pm~
~Ok xx~

I turned to Isaac, "my mum said I can" I said smiling. I went downstairs with Isaac and we sat at the dinner table. It was spaghetti bolognese and I loved it. I ate it all and I sat back in my chair. I turned to Ann and said "That was delicious, thank you". She smiled and said "Thank you very much". I looked at my phone and it was 8:55 pm. I thanked them for their hospitality and ran home. 

----The next day----

I woke up and I went to breakfast, mum and Emily were already up and I grabbed some toast and ate it. We all walked outside and mum gave me a kiss and drove Emily to school. 

----Skip School----

I got home and saw Ann inside, I looked at mum and said "what's going on?". Mum sighed and spoke saying "I have to go on a business trip for work for the rest of the year and I was asking Ann if she could look after you...". Ann said "and I would be glad to". I smiled and hugged mum saying "I hope you have fun". She returned my hug and I pulled away. I went upstairs and packed my stuff and went downstairs and gave mum a big hug. I went next door with Ann and saw Emily playing with Josh, I smiled seeing them get along. I turned to Ann and she said "I only have 3 rooms and Emily is sharing a room with Josh, do you mind to share with Isaac?". I dreaded this so much but I said "Yea, I don't mind" so I went upstairs and saw Isaac's bed and my bed about 3 meters away. I put my stuff on my bed and went back down stairs.
