Matthew's POV

"Good to hear okay na sya siguro naman medyo nakahinga ka na ng maayos? Nakauwi na pala sila Jade sa apartment nya." Chloe

Tahimik lang ako habang nakikinig sa kanya. May mga pinagtataka pa din ako sa kilos ni Chloe ngayon lang ulit sya lumabas ng kwarto nya mula noong nagising si Jade.

" Ikaw okay ka lang ba?" I asked her

"Yes." Sabay ngiti nya sakin

"Hinahanap ka ni Jade nung nagising sya. Bakit hindi ka pa nagpapakita sa kanya?"  I asked her

"Wala, sumakit lang kasi ulo ko ng buong araw tapos kausap ko sila daddy may mga pinag-usapan kami sa phone."she said

"For 2 days? May kinakatakot ka ba?" Hindi ko na napigilang itanong sa kanya

"Nandito na naman ba tayo? Iniisip mo bang pakana ko to?" Chloe

I look at her straight in the face.

Kilalang kilala ko si Chloe kaya naninibago na talaga ako sa mga galaw at pinapakita nya samin. Ayaw nyang pag-uusapan yung nangyari sa kanila ni Jade ni isang impormasyon wala syang sinasabi puro hindi nya alam. I know her, masyado syang detelyadong tao kaya ang nakakapagtaka bakit parang may tinatago sya sa akin.

"Chloe"

"What?" Anghil niya

"I know you too well. We've been friends for so long i know everything about you. Just like how i know you are keeping something from me right now. When you were kidnapped with Jade you saw or heard something but you're hiding it to me. Why? And stop saying that im blaming you or you're behind this because I know you're not. Now...tell me"

She started shaking..

Then she suddenly burst out crying and hugged me.

"Im sorry. Im so sorry but i was protecting him" Chloe

"What? I don't understand. Who?" I asked

She wiped her tears and looked at me.

"W-when we were in the warehouse... i-i heard someone." She said

"Who? Who is it Chloe?" I asked

She closed her eyes.

"Rush. I heard rush." Chloe

My eyes widened

"What!?" I asked

"Im sure it was Rush. I know his voice." Chloe said

I shook my head. No it can't be. But then..

This wasn't the first time rush did something absurd.

I looked down.

"Matt." chloe said

I took out my phone and dialled rush's number.

"Hello?" Rush

"Come back here. Now"  I said

"Ha? Anong now? Nabuang ka na ba? Ang layo layo!" Rush

"Now!" I said and hung up

"Matthew anong gagawin mo?" chloe

I looked at her.

"Im gonna have rush arrested. Right after I beat him up" I said

Its not impossible. Dahil maraming side si rush na hindi ko maintindihan. And somehow it scares the fuck out of me.

Rush texted me saying he will go home. Kaya nung malapit na mag land yung plane na sinasakyan niya chloe and I went to the airport.

The moment o saw rush coming out grinning I walked towards him.

"Miss mo naman ako masyado brad ha-"

He wasn't able to continue what he was saying when I landed a punch on his face.
