1. Kidnap

As usual,I would clean up all the table and sweep all the dirt on the floor. My job is a waitress, but on a low quality restaurant. My salary per month is not even enough for me to buy what I need at home and also my mother medication fees. It cost a lot.

I sighed and wipe the sweat from my forehead. I keep on sweeping until it all clear.

"Adriana, come in to my office, now. " My boss called out.

I feel something wrong and gets nervous.

I quickly wash my hands and went to my boss office's door. I takes a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in. "

I open the door and walk in. I closed the door and walk straight to him.

"I'm afraid I can't hired you again. "

I was shock about this news and look up at him.

"Why? Did I do anything wrong?"

"No, you didn't. Just that.. We don't have enough income for this month and we have to fired some of the workers. "

"Please... don't fired me. I need money for my mother's medication. "

"I'm sorry but, I have to. We can't do anything about it. "

I loses my hope as my boss walk out the office. I feel sad, anger and frustrated.

I then change to my outfit and put my work outfit on the counter. With the last step, I step out of the restaurant and didn't turn back.

The workplace is quite far from my home. Since it late, there won't be any buses anymore. I just walk with hands on the pocket.

'What do I do now? No jobs, medication fees and all. How should I find job when I was just a girl with low education?' I thought to myself

As I'm walking, I found a kitten. Alone at the corner of the road. It was looking at me, pitiful. I walk towards it and take it to my arm.

"What are you doing here alone at night kitten?" I said as I pat it head. "Should I bring you home?"

"Meow." The kitten meowed and I decided to bring it home.

I walked like usual and I didn't notice there's 3 SUV black car stop at the roadside. Then, four men came out and walk towards me. One of them grab my wrist and I turned.

"Who are you? Let me go." I said, trying to take his hand off me.

"The boss wants you, now. " Said the black glasses man.

"No, let me go. Please. "

He didn't want to let go and instead, he carry me up and walk towards the car. The kitten that was in my hand drop to the floor.

"No!!! Let me go!!!!" I hit the man back, hard.

He threw me in the car and shut the door. I quickly try to open the door but it locked.

"Please... Let me go!!"

"No, you can't go now."

A deep voice say out. I turn to him.

"Please... Let me out. My mother is alone in the house. She can't walk..!"

"Ahh, not now. "
