Lisa's POV
After school
After history class, I've been distracted a lot like a lot.
Meeting my dad after years was weird for me...almost uncomfortable too.
I didn't know if I should tell mum but I really don't want to tell cause she might create a flood.
After history class
I stood outside my history classroom tapping my foot, waiting for my dad to signal me to come in. "HEY, LISA!" I looked to my right and saw Tessa holding her books, running to me.
"Lisa, aren't you gonna go to your next period? You're just standing there" I sighed
"Tes...I...I'll talk to you later." I waved goodbye to Tess and walked inside and saw my history teach- I mean dad.....
"Uh......hi." I stood right by the door while looking down.
"Close the door." Slowly I shut the door, afraid of whats going to happen.
I got these memories of my dad, bad but good memories I had with him...and the fact that I'm in front of him after so many years is scary.
"Lisa, it's been awhile, you look all grown up." I looked up and saw a nervous face.
"Yeah.....I'm 17, dad....where were you? You left me." It was a question that was deep inside me but sometimes I wouldn't think about it.
"Well, I had a mission to do but I had to leave you and mum behind in order to accomplish it, AND BEFORE YOU SAY WHY I'M A HISTORY TEACHER its because I felt guilty about everything I did in the past."
I took a moment to process everything he said, honestly I don't know if I should be happy.
Now
I cuddled myself in bed while looking at a framed picture of baby me, I looked chubby but cute.
"Honey...It's me" I heard my mum from outside the door.
"Come in."
"Lisa, are you ok? You looked down ever since after school. You ok?"
"Yeah....I guess."
"Turn around." I turned over and saw mum with a tray of food.
"Tell me what happened" I stood up and put the tray on to my nightstand, grabbing her hands.
"I don't know how you will react but....I saw dad..at school today."
I lift up my head to see mums reaction. Blank.
"Eat your food, I'll be back. Mum left while closing the door behind.
Mum needed time to think and I understood. I would do the same.
Mums POV
My back was against the door, nearly crying.
Was it true? Did Lisa really see him?
I don't want to tell Lisa the truth...I'm afraid.
